Hey, I’m moving everything over to a new server. Things might look a little strange until it’s done.

Update - 5/28/07, 1PM -

    Hi Saucy (:))
    Haven’t seen “Amish Paradise” I don’t think anyway. I’ll take a look.
    Love Weird Al :)))
I haven’t had a chance to watch any of those yet….thought the titles in themselves were bad enough!
There was one link there on “most watched/popular videos”, which I also haven’t haven’t looked at…have bookmarked it :)

“Without my recent comments section to guide me, I’m adrift in a sea of doubt.”

Know how you feel :(( Frustrating and sad state of affairs isn’t it!!

To Saucy Wench… I don’t think it is the FSM who has forsaken us, I think it is Prophet Bobby who has been coerced by the Jehovah’s Witnesses or worse. But you have a very, very good point: if we don’t have our RECENT COMMENTS, we may be subject to brainwashing and possible conversion to one of the large organized religions or, even worse… The Church of Google!!!

In the name of your loyal devotees, PLEASE BRING BACK THE RECENT COMMENTS, PROPHET BOBBY!!! Or we might be forced to become Google-ites!!! (Noooooooo!!!)

Here is a charade for all of you:
    .
    Two words…
    .
    First word: Two syllables.
    .
    First syllable: sounds like “me”
Second syllable: another word for a “penny”
    .
    .
    Second word: Two syllables.
    .
    First syllable: sounds like “mom”
    Second syllable: sounds like “fence”
    .
    OK, WHAT IS THE ANSWER??

  7. 587 Rowdier Wench Jun 4th, 2007 at 6:41 pm

Oh, oh, me, me!!! It’s RECENT COMMENTS!!!!
    .
    More, more!! :)))

  8. 588 ♥ Wench Beth ♥ Jun 4th, 2007 at 9:07 pm

Rowdier wins the prize! She solved the charade! Yes, the correct answer is:
    .
    RECENT COMMENTS!!! (where are they?)

  9. 589 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 10:53 pm

Where the hell is Bobby? He hasn’t even left us a nice announcement about the Recent Comments. Do you think he has abandoned us?

  10. 590 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 10:59 pm

I really miss the Recent Comments. :_( I’ve never known how much I loved them until now.

  11. 591 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:01 pm

We’ve gone over a week without them. How much longer can we take it? I’m not sure I can survive much longer.

  12. 592 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:04 pm

Lackorecencommentration is a terrible way to die.

  13. 593 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:05 pm

    I don’t want to die.

  14. 594 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:06 pm

    I want to live.

  15. 595 Wench Nikkiee Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:07 pm

You know, I thought we would have definitely heard something from Bobby by now. The past few days I’ve been having little nagging worried thoughts tugging at the back of my mind. I do hope everything is OK with Bobby.

  16. 596 Aristotle, God of Satire Jun 4th, 2007 at 11:10 pm

But it’s impossible to live without Recent Comments. Besides, even if it was possible to live without their guiding presence, who would want to live such a desolate life? No one, that’s who. Certainly not me. I need Recent Comments. Life isn’t worth living without them.

    Those are my exact thoughts.

    Hi Aristotle (:))
I hope Bobby and his family (Cari/Cari’s family) are ok. I don’t understand why it’s been so long without hearing anything more from him.

“Lackorecencommentration is a terrible way to die.”
Perhaps a little Californication will help keep you going :p))

Wish someone would at least let us know what’s going on. I mean the server is still up and running (thought pretty slowly on my system) but I get a sense that the whole changeover seemed to stop mid-sentence! So to speak.

Well, I guess some of us here (in Australia) felt and saw this situation brewing in this country! Still, a bit of a shock to actually witness such blatant religous manipulation and bullying being so openly displayed. This is only one example of the recent push to religify (a word?) politics here. Polarisation of politicians/politics and the public will be taken one small (large) step further!
I feel I may have to start staying home (on blogs and FSM here in Australia) a bit more. :(((

Vote against cloning, or else: Pell June 05, 2007
“NSW MPs who are Catholic can expect consequences from the church if they support a bill to open the way for therapeutic cloning, the head of the church in Australia, Cardinal George Pell, warned today.
Cardinal Pell has urged all members of the NSW parliament to vote against the bill that would scrap the current ban on stem cell research, also known as Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer.”

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
