Update on the burglary

We think it was probably our neighbor’s daughter’s friends.  Some of our other neighbors were around when it happened, and saw them sitting on the stairs, hanging out.  We’re thinking it’s unlikely that someone else walked up the stairs - past them, took a bunch of stuff and walked out.   They (the neighbor’s friends) said that they didn’t see anything, and then immediately took off. We know what school they go to, and the police lifted some fingerprints… so there’s hope.

    Geh, what a stupid little brat! I hope that if it’s them, you give them a good scare! Some teenagers are just so immature.

    Well - at least it wasn’t sinister - just old-fashioned twatiness!

    PS - Congratulations DPG - I only got mine a few weeks ago :) It gives you a warm feeling inside :)

    Yay, justice is served! Unless of course, they didn’t do it, then y’know, keep looking.

    being a teenager i 100% support the idea that they took it. No teenager says “they didn’t see anything” then runs off. They say “i didnt see anything, but i hope those suns of *****es get cought”

    @Alchemist
    Now hey hey hey, I’m 14 and I haven’t stolen anything! Though they acted a little funny so I’m inclined to agree with you.

    Yeah - like getting awarded your black belt. No longer a student but qualified. The real learning starts now - hmmm, that was a bit Zen for me :)

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
