boy, your god sure has big balls

hmmm… what an interesting idea…. a shame i like pasta. mmm…. tasty. i like the giant balls… meatballs…. and put them in my mouth. Anyhow… how on earth can you believe such nonsense. Pasta wasn’t even around till the 1600’s, and what on earth would pirates have to do with any freakin thing of global warming?? well, i don’t want to be wrapped in my bowl of spaghetti idea’s, but go suck some balls… meatballs…

    @Aristotle
Here’s my sentence from the other thread.
“You think I can remember that, it seems to Gabriel.”
    First, second or third person?
You wonder what one should say, thinks Gabriel.

Actually it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense? Do you mean: “You think I can remember that, thinks Gabriel.”

“it seems to Gabriel” or “it seems to me”. Substituting “Gabriel” speaking in the third person. Similar to
    “Aristotle
    Apr 30th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
Aristotle, you want to speak in the second person now.
Rather then “I want to speak in the second person now.”
Why do you think “it seems” doesn’t make sense?

But it starts with “you”. I’m more confused then when we started.

If the sentence can be rewritten to start with he/she/it/they, then it is third person.
    Examples:
    .
“You think I can remember that, it seems to Gabriel.”
“It seems to Gabriel that you can remember that.”
    .
“‘You wonder what one should say,’ thinks Gabriel.”
“She thinks, ‘You wonder what one should say.’”
    .
“Boy, My god sure has big balls!!!”
    “He sure has big balls!!!”

It is apparently wrong that pasta was invented only in 1600. Pasta production was already organized in Sicily in 1154 as certified by the Arab geographer Al-Idrisi. See http://www.professionalpasta.it/dir_9/1_whoinv.htm. Besides pasta made with rise was used in China at least two hundred years before Marco Polo’s travel to China. If there were pasta production, pasta must have been used much time before, vedy difficult to decide exactly when!

It’s not like something that tasty would have been left just lying around to be dug up by archiologists thousands of years later so that we could figure out how long ago it was first made.

his life may be stupid, and it may be christian, but please don’t put them both together. His life is not stupid because he is a christian; it is stupid because he is acting stupid. As I said in my reply to your other comment, we have nothing against christianity in general.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
