FSM Chat update

The FSM Chat experiment was a success - over 200 registered users in the first 24 hours.  But, it was too slow and it was killing the server.  So I’m going to install a faster, better chat service. I’m hoping that it will be up by tomorrow.

@ Saint Robbie - Welcome and RAmen! So much for Christian tolerance - it shows up quickly, don’t you think?! Glad to know your dog is Pastafarian too - we have a dog and a cat around here.

Christian’s are some of the worst when it comes to strictness, and “you have to believ what i believe, ‘cuz you’re going to hell otherwise”

When’s bobby bringing back the chat?

this is great! I wish I would have found “salvation” of the omnipotent pasta god sooner!
I feel so calm and tranquil in the pasta universe!

Hehehe, already tired of spamming the fora? Still waiting for your source that claims that the word “romantic” refers to things that have to do with Rome… Of course, if you keep digging etymologically, and stick to the “roma” part in the word, you’ll end up in Italy’s capital… How’s your Russian, any better? It might be of some consolation to you, my dear child, that the Russian “cyrillic” alphabet was derived fromm the Greek alphabet :))))

…. err, “from”, of course, not “fromm”. Sticky fingers…

  8. 328 Zankou Apr 5th, 2007 at 3:34 pm

    hmm…I do not spam…well, i suppose i do occasionally…

I swear to you, oh he who speaketh little english, that romantic, and romanic are the adjectives that refer to Latin and Rome..

as for my source, i do not remember where i heard the term…but it is correct nonetheless…haven’t you ever heard of the “Romance Languages”

I had never encountered Cyrillic text before…i am sorry, and it is duly noted.

Hey I run an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) server that’s quite stable and already houses some friendly people, and I honestly would love it if you hosted your channel on there, come and take a look at it some time! :D

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
