If we are made in Gods image, I’m not spaghetti am I? you have probably ruined millions of people’s lives. Y is there pirates in ur religion? I am trying 2 act like u don’t have mental disabilities, but it’s very hard. This is blasphemy and u will probably burn in hell for the next eternity for ruining the lives of millions of people. I don’t know ne1 who “believes” in ur load of #$^@!like the words of others GET SOME HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are we going to have access to it, Gnocci man?
    I would love a copy. :)

I’ll put it online, send a link to Bobby, and WHOOM FIZZLE! it’s done. A download option shouldn’t be too hard, but right now I just need to focus on making the thing.

By the way, do you think I should make a text version as well? It wouldn’t be too hard and it would allow easier access. I’m at around 40 pages now, and content is still growing. I want to have 100+ pages in final version, so I still need much more input. ANY PASTAFARIAN READING THIS SHOULD TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY AND WRITE SOMETHING (as per earlier specifications) FOR THE FSM HYMN BOOK.

Apropos of nothing, “the Flying Spaghetti Monster” is an anagram of “impregnates thyself tonight”. I reckon that’s a fair message to those that respond to Pastafarianism like the author of the source of this thread…

“if someone could answer this question really quickly:
did the kansas school board recant their decision? or do they still teach ID in their schools?”
The National Centre for Science Education has extensive info on all that and tons more of ID-teaching related info:
    http://www.natcenscied.org/
Ther short answer is that two ID proponents lost their seats in the last mideterms, the board now has a 6-4 pro-science majority. Not a big one, but enough for them to have thrown out all ID nonsense from curricula already.

ha ha ha ha… poor Thumper. =( I have never eaten rabbit… what is it like? I don’t think I could eat an animal that I would consider having for a pet (rabbits are so sweet looking!!). Also don’t eat wild animal meat (like deer and bison) because I always used to be scared by the big heads of them that people would put up on their walls. If you go to Banff or any of the rockie resorts, they have animal heads and antlers up all over the damn place… it’s very off-putting. As a kid, we went and stayed in the Chateau Louise one year, and I had nightmares about the big elk that had been hung directly above my bed.

We used to get given rabbit stew as a child, and you just ate hat you were given – it’s nice – sort of sweet chicken but a bit more gamey – hard to describe if you have never eaten game!
Things like venison, pheasant etc are quite popular here in semi-posh restaurants!

The FSM Hymn Book is coming along quite well, though it was set back slightly by a 24-hour stomach flu I caught. Any input of FSM-based poetry, songs, short stories, etc. would be welcome and is also very necesary. I have recently been working mostly on the technical side, but any suggestions on a good short story (one that at the very least involves pasta) to include would be welcome. I have been writing the short story “excerps from the journal of captain Dita Lisci (dita lisci is a type of smallish elbow macaroni),” and as once it is done there will still only be two pastafarian short stories I could really use the help.
If anyone has absolutely no idea what I was talking about, check up the post a bit. I am compiling a collection of pastafarian literary curiosities such as songs, poems, stories, and so on, all written by genuine pastafarians. Take this chance!

“How can a flying spaghetti “whatever” live or make something?”

Yeah. Good point. How can a giant being, made of spaghetti or whatever, be flying and making creatures?

Hmm, let’s bring this one step further. How can a man exist, invisible to all humans, and create creatures and the world itself?

    Think about it.

(re: FSM Hymnbook. read up the thread a bit if this makes no sense)
The hymn-book now has 43 pages, but too much of that is sea shanties. I need more pastafarian input before this thing can even get CLOSE to done. Booty is the only one who has given me any input so far (thanks again, Booty!), and I can’t take all the content I need from old threads. The “Hymns and Songs” discussion forum is helpful, I have recovered quite a bit of content from it, but PLEASE POST ANY SONGS/POEMS/STORIES THAT YOU WRITE HERE. It really helps when I don’t have to go on a cross-thread scavenger hunt to find them.

I am new to this site and wondered about the following: -Lets for one moment suppose the Christian fundies are correct in believing that their god exists. The world is only six thousand years old and Adam was created from a handful of dust. Adam was then tempted into evil by tasting the forbidden fruit. Why then did their God not send Jesus down to earth immediately after Adam was tempted? He could have saved himself a whole lot of talking as he would only have had to lecture two people and no cross thing. Communications two thousand years ago were limited to walking and physically visiting people (I know people could write two thousand years ago but the postal service was not up to much). So the fundies God waited for four thousand years before sending the immaculately conceived Jesus to right the wrongs that Adam started, just so the poor lad could be beaten, whipped, hung on a cross and get very sore feet. Sounds like child abuse to me. Is it any wonder the Old Testament is so cruel if he could do that to his child.

Keep your God fundies, i’m following FSM

just post anything you write (songs, poems, or short stories based on the FSM) here on this thread, and I’ll put it in. It’s a powerpoint presentation (so it’ll be interactive), once it’s done I’ll send it to Bobby Henderson to be added to Venganza. An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
