Hollywood Flock of Dodos Screening

Nick the Missionary from the ECU Flock of Dodos Screening has made another appearance!

Randy Olson was so pleased with my imopromptu performance at the last screening, that he flew me out to Hollywood for a screening at Graumans Egyptian theater. I had a great time, and spread the noodly word to many. I have attached a few photos from the event. Theres a couple of photos of me posing with the official dodos, a Darwin impersonator, the Director Randy Olson, and his mom and the star of the movie Muffy Moose. One is with the only celebrity I met Matt Walsh from the Upright Citizens Brigade. I also included the greatest photo of the trip! Its of FSM and a particularly buxom pirate wench we ran into. He seemed to be fond of her cleavage. I think thats what many of the strippers in heaven will look like!

Thank you very much Nick!

From those articles, it sounds like mocking really helped to get the Kansas standards changed, and so many fundies tried to convince us that mocking IDiocy wounldn’t make it go away…

I’m kind of snowbound… we had four inches last night and I just got done shoveling my neighbor’s driveway (he’s having shoulder surgery so he can’t do it) but then I was too tired to do my own!! So Wench Beth is snowbound tonight :) That’s ok, I love snow.

What does the FSM think of snow? Just wondering…

  10. 30 - February 15th, 2007 at - Dread Wench L'TUAE Says:

I don’t know what he thinks of snow, but I just had to shovel 300 sq feet of driveway. 7 in. snow, 4 in. ice. :(
I really wish the FSM could have lent a Noodly Appendage back there.
@Wench Beth- that was really nice!

  11. 31 - February 15th, 2007 at - Wench Beth Says:

    Thanks, Dread Wench… I try :)

  12. 32 - February 16th, 2007 at - Thumper Says:

@ Dread Wench L’TUAE and Wench Beth
It’s about 38 degrees C here on the sunny Gold Coast, blue sky, crystal clear surf, with the girl’s in bikini’s and the boys in no shirts…uh-oh…you’ll be back to “I hate you Thumper” again if I do this…

  13. 33 - February 16th, 2007 at - Wench Beth Says:

Actually not, Thumper, because I love the snow! I spent my entire life on the ocean in a place with the best climate on the planet (in many people’s opinions) and now that I’ve moved to New Mexico, I am THRILLED to have seasons and snow! If you could see how gorgeous it is here, you would know how I’m feeling.
    .
Anyway, I don’t mind shoveling snow — it’s a good workout and FSM knows I need one!!

  14. 34 - February 16th, 2007 at - Arthur Says:

Great story, Nick, especially the internet porn awards; obviously his Noodly Appendage is pleased with your actions and has chosen to bless you. :-D
    .
    Luck bastard… ;)

  15. 35 - February 17th, 2007 at - Dread Wench L'TUAE Says:

@Wench Beth- I also love the seasons, the snow, and everything you can do with it. (i do many err uh… non traditional snowsculptures) But when you have to shovel 4 times in a week it gets kind of annoying. I mean, they could have spaced it out a little. But I gues it’s all worth it if you can bean your sis in the head with a chunk of ice.^_^

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
