jesus loves you bobby

I am writing this letter to you not to argue your point against mine but to let you know that it is so sad that people argue about their beliefs instead of just letting God’s love flow thru them to those who don’t believe. I do not believe in your theory, but I would like to tell you about my experience with God. Jesus loves you Bobby. It is sad that there are many people out there who believe in God/Jesus, but do not have a personal relationship with Him. It is sad that we have to get called names and cursed when we express our beliefs.

I John 1:5-10 – This is the message which we have heard from Him (God) and decare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him (God), and walk in darkness, we lie an do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we hae fellowhsiop with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

I am a 36 year old female that believes in God the father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit. I do believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God. I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me at the age of 7 and I have never regretted that decision. No one made me make that decision, it was my own decision. The fact is that I don’t just say a prayer to God at bedtime or when I need help with a problem, BUT I daily talk to Him in prayer and read the Bible. God speaks to us through the Bible. The problem is, there are so many people in this world that think because they go to church on Sunday or they say a prayer at bedtime that this makes them a christian. I am not a judge and only God knows their heart and if their name is written in the Book of Life (Revelations 21:27 ). If you only talk to your parents/spouse at bedtime, then do you have a relationship with them? Jesus is my spiritual Father and I love those times that I spend with Him. The fact is that God created the world, this includes the universe as well, God created all living things. God created man to praise Him. Adam and Eve sinned when they disobeyed God. If you have kids, do you punish them when they disobey? God punished them by throwing them out of the Garden of Eden, a perfect place where the lamb and lion would lie together. I believe everything the Bible says. God sent Jesus to die on the cross for everyone because HE LOVES EVERYONE!! Jesus loves you, Bobby. Jesus was mocked and beat and died on the cross for you and me. (Hebrews 7:22-28) Now we have the freewill to choose of deny God, we no longer have to offer sacrifices for our sins. This is Grace. God forgives us of our sin when we ask and repent. God is a god of love and mercy. God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell, but he has given us the freewill to choose. He isn’t going to make us serve Him. I know and believe that Jesus is real and I believe that one day He will blow a trumpet and those that are saved will rise to meet Him. I believe that there is a place that He has prepared for the saved called Heaven. I cannot wait to bow before my Lord and Savior and thank Him for all that He has done for me. Does He speak to me in an audible voice? No, but He does answer my prayers.

So what do I get out of believing in Jesus? I get a peace and joy that is unexplainable. Do I have trials and problems? yes, I do, but because I have Peace that only comes from Jesus and Joy that is unspeakable, and I have Jesus that I can talk to about anything anytime, I can make it through those problems. God is so awesome. I am a sinner saved by grace, the grace of God and I would die for it. If I were asked to deny Jesus or die, I would die. That is how much I believe in Him. He is so precious to me.

So why does God not like sin? He is my Heavenly Father and as my earthly father doesn’t want me to do things that are wrong because they hurt me or are bad for me, that is why Jesus doesn’t like sin and wants us to flee from it.

Do I believe in Hell? Yes.

Do I believe in Satan/Devil? Yes. He is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he can devour. He hates God and therefore, we are in constant spiritual battle because Satan likes to remind me of my past, but with God’s help and the scriptures from God’s Holy Word, I can keep him away. (1 Peter 5:6-7). Satan will be cast into Hell. Hell is not a fun place, it is a place of torment and gnashing of teeth, and I will be so sad for those who refused to believe and go there. (Revelations 20:10, 15) The way I look at it is this way:

If I am wrong and God is not real and there is no Heaven or Hell and I have spent my life believing in it, then I have lost nothing.

BUT, If I am right (and I believe I am) and you are wrong and don’t believe in Jesus , then you have everything to loose. It will be a sad day for you and all of those people you have worked so hard to be against Jesus. (Revelations 21:7-8)

Please, if you have any questions, or if you want to know more about what I believe, email me. You have the right to believe whatever you want, but wanted to let you know why I believe in Jesus.

In Jesus love and service,

Sherry

@ Thumpie – Are you out there? Why is it that when after I have 4 days too busy to even check the site, I have 3 hours to spend and no one is here? *Rowdy pouts, wipes away tear* Will you say hi to the cat for me? I’ve been missing him! :)

@ everyone – this is a fun site, created much laughter in my house! I’ll post it in a couple of different places. Have fun!

    Good morning Thumper and Rowdy
    .
Thumper – ooh, I think I can find a window in my schedule this weekend for a little trolling :) – I quite fancy a frontal attack this time – DanielJ is getting bored with the long run. I’ve opened a few more e-addys too!
    .
Do you have a gmail account?
    .
I’ve been looking into free proxy servers too. I think Tor will be enough but the faint idea of using two proxies and two browsers (if that’s possible) brings a big smile to my face.
    .
The conspiracy chat room I posted on another thread sounds very tempting – a little push in the right direction and the tinfoil hats come out.
    .
Oh my FSM, I think I’ve found my vocation :)
    Hail Eris and

“The conspiracy chat room I posted on another thread sounds very tempting”…Oh HELL YEAH!…the truth is out there…very “out there”…I don’t have a gmail account…the Lizards use it to moniter thought waves to control global button prices…the only thing they truely fear…
    .
On the weekend I’ll be at a diferent IP address…hello Millsey!…time for Fred Thupmer CPA to dust off his loafers…Lyoness working Sunday which is Saturday where you live…sounds like an appropriate time to cause trouble…

@ Thumper and Alchemist – do come back and share the hilarity! I love hearing about it. I have a hard time keeping up with my life at the moment, so don’t have time/energy to participate. But will fully support and cheer you on in your quest to change the face of the planet!

@Thumper – Your Sunday / my Saturday night / Sunday morning it is mon ami!
    .
Shall we swap target details via email first :)
    .
Don’t forget that with Tor we can flush the circuit, get a new IP and start over again with a fresh webmail. See how many times we can be banned in a day :)

Your right about Googlemail. A bloke I met in the pub told me that GCHQ and the NSA monitor all Gmail accounts and pass the information on to the Masons. As you know the Illuminate infiltrated the Masons during the 17C at the request of their Lizard masters from the Pleiades system.
His mate, who works for the firm that fixes GCHQs boilers, told him (in secret) that they’re using specific frequencies on gmail in order to make us more docile for when their lizard masters invade !

@ Thumper – Woo hoo! Project Mahem continues! We had a friend of ours (21, uni student; was a riding student of mine for 10 years. If only the parents knew what I was really teaching their kids…mwahahaha!) watch Fight Club a while back. Apparently the violence was a bit disturbing to her (I was surprised – I grew up watching violent stuff so it didn’t occur to me that it would be that overwhelming), but she said a couple of weeks ago that she wants to see it again. It is definitely a different movie the 2nd time around. Not only have we de-Mormonized this kid, I have converted her to Pastafarianism! Go me!! :)

@ Alchemist – I just knew that Google was trying to take over the world! It all makes so much sense… :)

Yes, buttons! Must find more buttons! Do you know which are the most effective, shirt buttons are quite small so you can carry a lot more of them but I’m quite keen an the big ones you get on coats.

Most amusing…indeed cling film makes me feel more of a wabbit…ah ummmm!!!…I’ve wrapped the house in tin foil and have strung garlic over the door ways…tin foil does prevent scrying and garlic is fantastic for warding off flu and witches…I have also fashioned a “Ned Kelly” hat out of old beer cartons…I hate to see them go to waste and the Ned Kelly hat is quite slimming when worn with my Metalica bath robe…the size of the button doesn’t matter…it’s what you do with them that counts…

What a damned good idea – protection against drop bears as well! I’d also recommend an unbroken ring of salt around your house to prevent evil spirits from gaining entry and leaving a saucer of milk out every night for the elves. They can be bastards if they don’t get their milk!

I think you’ll need something a little more substantial for protection from from the Drop Bears Alchemist. They can be very nasty, especially after a night on fermented native fruits. Also more likely to fall out of their trees onto the heads of an unsuspecting passer by, after one of those benders.

im not going to go on criticising your veiws, but think about this…if god IS real, how can he let his “children” suffer, even if they’re pefectly good people. I don’t think, if there WAS a god, he would have created a world like this. The spaghetti monster was created to prove a point. that all religion is rubbish. They were created when people of the world were searching for reasons why the world was created. They didn’t have science. Some guy wrote a fictional story, like mr Henderson, and got followers.

About 3 years ago I dropped into a black hole – four months of absolute terror. I wanted to end my life, but somehow [Holy Spirit], I reached out to a friend who took me to hospital. I had three visits [hospital] in four months – I actually thought I was in hell. I imagine I was going through some sort of metamorphosis [mental, physical & spiritual]. I had been seeing a therapist [1994] on a regular basis, up until this point in time. I actually thought I would be locked away – but the hospital staff was very supportive [I had no control over my process]. I was released from hospital 16th September 1994, but my fear, pain & shame had only subsided a little. I remember this particular morning waking up [home] & my process would start up again [fear, pain, & shame]. No one could help me, not even my therapist [I was terrified]. I asked Jesus Christ to have mercy on me & forgive me my sins. Slowly, all my fear has dissipated & I believe Jesus delivered me from my “psychological prison.” I am a practicing Catholic & the Holy Spirit is my friend & strength; every day since then has been a joy & blessing. I deserve to go to hell for the life I have led, but Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross, delivered me from my inequities. John 3: 8, John 15: 26, are verses I can relate to, organically. He’s a real person who is with me all the time. I have so much joy & peace in my life, today, after a childhood spent in orphanages [England & Australia]. God LOVES me so much. Fear, pain, & shame, are no longer my constant companions. I just wanted to share my experience with you [Luke 8: 16 – 17].

Congratulations on overcoming your troubles. Although I think you should give yourself more credit for it. One of the things occasionally discussed here is how religion plays on peoples fears and guilt. As an atheist, I’d like you to consider (politely btw) that what you describe are all transformations of feelings. You don’t mention anything tangible that your supoosed god did, it all refers to the state of your mind. If you had felt a greater confidence you could have done the things you did and never considered gods in it. And gues what: you actually did it on your own. Well done, you should indeed be happy as your express to be. You would feel much better still about yourself if you realised that you did it all on your own strength.

Say what you want about religion but if everyone on earth was like sherry there would be peace on earth, but there we have a problem, If God made us he made us diffrent and if evolution made us we were made diffrent to.
I do think this site is funny and I do not believe in God right now. But I respect all believers. It’s the lack of respect that start wars, not religions.

“It’s the lack of respect that start wars, not religions.”
But what if the lack of respect is inherent in the religion? What if a religion, for instance through its scripture, explicitly says that those who don’t believe in it deserve some gruesome punishment? How do you adhere to the word of that religion and at the same time respect those who do not believe in it?

@ DPG – how many wars would be avoided if “my religion and my sex life were none of anyone’s business”. Religion certainly does start wars (and keeps them going for hundreds of years, apparently). Religion teaches intolerance (all the while claiming sweetness and light).
Good comments to Micky, BTW. I am glad for him that he is doing better, but you are so right about how much better he’d feel knowing he did that for himself.

Your sex life started a war? I’m impressed. I thought only Clinton managed to do that according to some conspiracy thinkers, conveniently bombing the Taliban camps in Africa and Afghanistan just when Monica became a public embarresment. Care to let us in on the juicy details, must have been quite something then.

Mickey, dead chuffed that you sorted yourself out. you’ve been unfortunate to tread a path that so many miss by inches yet barely see it. But i couldn’t agree more with the other posters, give yourself the pat on the back – you did all the hard work, maybe with some help from friends, but it was still you that did it. well done….

Hm, wasn’t Revelations recently proved to be a piece of anti-roman propaganda? Funny this woman should cite something that wasn’t even meant to be a religious text. Just because a priest and the people around her told her it’s true, she believed it. THAT’S wasting one’s life: believing something just because some else tells you it’s true or “sacred”. Sad how so many people fall into this trap.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did.
