My favorite Pokemons are Meowth and Psyduck. I just think they’re cute.

I’m Japanese. I haven’t read all the comments, so anyone might say it…
Certainly, it is one of the pokemon and called “Mon-Jara” in Japanese. Mon-Jara appeared in the game Pokemon, which was released in 1996.
Mon-Jara is very cute, i think.
I love the Flying Spaghetti Monster, too.

I had two housemates who were obsessed with all things anime including pokemon. I am now phobic, but I’m assured it was the people and not the anime that were so awful. I am trying to do some C.B.T…. it’s almost working…

Pokemon is the pure representation of the 8-year old ADD kid’s form of entertainment. I hate it, hate it, hate it to the core!!!
    Ergh, I hate it!!!

Oh, god, I used to LOVE Pokemon. Not gonna lie. Had–and still have somewhere in the mess that is my room–a game, two binders worth of those cards….and I can still sing the blasted theme song word-for-word. Which I openly admit is pathetic.

I have a stuffed Meowth and a stuffed Psyduck, plus a plastic Meowth that lights up and blinks. And I got these all as an adult! (Well, “adult” is subjective, I suppose :)

@ Wench Beth– Oh yeah, forgot about the stuffed animals! Pikachu and Weezing still hang out on my bed. Next to the hundreds of teddy bears I’ve had since I was born.
Best part is I’m planning on taking a whole bunch of them with me to college ;)

To Iron gill Kidd… whoa, don’t even get me STARTED on stuffed animals. If I told you how many I have… well, let’s just say it’s enough to sink our pirate ship that we’re all going to get some day. I’m sure you and I are in the same boat there (pun intended :)

I’m not a Pastafarian, although I personally adore what the entire concept stands for… I just had to chime in here.

I’ve seen far too many people like MAD in the past… and I must say I have NEVER seen it handled nearly as well as I have here. This was one of the single funniest things I have ever head the pleasure of reading. Just had to mention that. I was laughing so hard I could almost feel the cold noodle of death on my shoulder from a lack of oxygen. Good show!

    @Freylom

Welcome and thanks my favorite so far was, and maybe it’s because I was part of it was the sequence started by

“Up Side Yer head Wit A Fukin Oar”

I don’t know if he was for real, but I do know it was really fun.

Freylorn, you would enjoy being a Pastafarian. The reasons are too numerous to mention, but trust me, it’s way cooler than being a brainwashed fundamentalist!

Who could resist pastafarianism? It’s just so much more fun than every other religion put together

I mean, Christian heaven is fine, but who can resist beer (miscellaneous alcohol? I’ve heard tequila mentioned also) volcanoes and stripper factories?

Oh, don’t get me wrong – just because I’m not a Pastafarian hardly means I’m a Christian. Truth be told, I don’t devote myself to a religion because I’m too lazy to actually follow one. The FSM holds a special place in my heart regardless. But I thank you all kindly for the welcome, and it wouldn’t surprise me if I found myself posting frequently in the future!

    Avast, Freylorn.

Don’t put yourself down for being lazy; laziness is and essential part of our society.
Every great invention came about because someone couldn’t be bothered to keep doing a mundane task and asked himself, “there must be an easier way of doing this?”
Ergo (must stop watching the 2nd Matrix film) every great inventor was a lazy sod.
You should be proud, wear your laziness like a badge of honour.
Just don’t let it keep you from the stripper factories and beer volcanoes.

TANGELA IS NOT A WATER-TYPE POKÉMON, BUT A GRASS-TYPE. He evolves into TANGROWTH when learns the move (attack) ancientpower. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tangela Here are some quotes on him: “Its identity is obscured by countless blue vines that are similar to seaweed. Will become entangled with anything.” Pokémon Stadium. “The vines are said to never stop growing.” Pokémon Yellow. “The vines sway as it walks.” Pokémon Red and Blue.

I also think Tangela might be another FSM epiphany.
Ramen and Lamen! (and I also love pokémon)

Laziness is one of the simple pleasure of life….other than beer and being immature. Strippers? too much work (unless it’s a threesome, so one can push me back and forth while I eat hotdogs) make pasta man! not war!

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
