A scientist converts & evidence of HIS children

Published January 14th, 2007 by Bobby Henderson

Thank you for helping me see the light! I must admit until I ran across your pages a few months ago I was a misguided by the pro-evolution, left wing, scientific darwanist dogma. However as a microbiologist, I began running across evidence of HIM wherever I turned (see attached). I have come to believe that HE has a special fondness for bacteria, especially of the genus Proteus! And since there are over 1000 times as many bacteria cells in and on our body perhaps we were created by HIM as vessels for THEM, his favored children the bacteria!

    Teddy and your half measures!

Anyone can see that the only effective measure against the Total World Aspect Telecaster is to creat a Personal Faraday cage system by wrapping yourself in foil!

  2. Teddy says:

NO! Listen. Don’t wrap yourself in tin foil. It’s not hard to understand now.
    .
An aerial is a length (or a piece) of metal. Because metal is one of the best conductors. But, you yourself are a conductor too, and therefore an aerial (hence why people get scared of mobile phone masts). But, the foil is a better aerial than you are. So, having it in contact with you makes you and it the aerial. Shove your finger against the aerial socket of your TV and see the picture improve compared to no aerial. Grab a metal aerial and the picture should improve more.

A Faraday cage would help yes. But this is NOT wrapping yourself in tin foil. And, it is only a start. they aren’t magically perfect. So, hide in a tin foil igloo, or better, get that reflective aluminium adhesive roll and paper your room with it, more layers the better. And remember, connect some to a pipe to your radiator to get good grounding. Not really a Faraday cage, but it should help. Leave the floor un’papered’.
    .
Wiki gives a good Faraday expo.

Depends. They can be quite nice in a nibbley kind of way :) Especially if you use Fiery Jack at the same time.
Mmmm – tingley and nibbley! (sp??)

Actually got around to clicking on your link. Is that your stuff. Kudos. Minesweeper has been one of my favourites for many years. Just as long as you keep your bar on the side, so no one can read your open windows (spit) and master Alt-tab, you’re quids in for wasting hours of someones time.

Ok, here is one for the UK FSM congregation (or expatriats) . The Downing Street 10 website hosts various petitions. One of them calls on the government to abolish faith schools, the teaching of creationism and IDiocy. Since FSMism isn’t taught, why should any other faith get special treatment, especially since those are fairy tales that don’t have a graph with empirical evindence like ours. The other calls for an end to the promotion of any religion in publicly funded schools. Signing them takes less than a minute. They are at:

I will put this notice on a couple of the currently active threads, sorry if you read it multiple times. It might have a good side effect, in drawing in sime fundies who’ll shout ‘CONSPIRACY!!’. If anyone here is still active on the BBC blog, feel free to copy-paste the urls over there.

I tried to chase down this petition (somewhat belatedly) to find out what the government said in reply. There was nothing in the online government archives. Apart from telling people to “get stuffed” in official government language, does anyone know the outcome of this petition?

    RE: travis

“Alchemist, Why did NASA say from IR satellite data that there has been “no significant temperature change over the past 18 years”. Ever hear of the Urban effect. Religeon has nothing to do with my opinion. The fact is that the same people who are bashing religeon are the same ones that are grabbing on for dear life to the Global Warming thing and trying to quash all opposition. Is the closed minded ultra-left crowd that has so much vested in it being true. So when all of the weather settles down again (because it is cyclical), I am going to laugh. And yes I will say told you so.”

The Earth is getting hotter. Full Stop.

The current doubt is not over that inescapable fact, but whether this is being caused by humans or natural fluctuations that have occurred throughout history. And before you start quoting Al Gore at me, I have seen an Inconvenient Truth and respect it as a gorgeous piece of manipulative art. It’s utter bullshit that’s been cooked up in such a way to further Al Gore’s private agenda. (He doesn’t like people hating him)

And no, it’s not just non-religious people doubting Global Warming, nor is it only religious people supporting it. Stop drawing a line in the sand, your making yourself look like an idiot.

PS: Can anyone else spot the delicious irony of a bible basher calling you lot closed minded?

  7. Red DutchPasta Kidd says:

Yes, the irony is just lovely isn’t it? But then again, for them closed minded means something different: anyone who has different ideas and who won’t immediatly convert to MY version of reality.

  8. Rodger the cabin boy says:

‘Stop drawing a line in the sand, your making yourself look like an idiot.’
Does anyone else see the irony in this?
