Dano Johnson, the animator of the NY Dolls video, which featured the Flying Spaghetti Monster, just let me know that their video “Dance Like a Monkey” won Best Music Video at the Bradford Animation Festival in the UK (their biggest animation fest). Congratulations!

Gotta say the Dolls video might be the best I’ve seen ever. Not sure what the one guy was saying about “allowing” David Jo “back” in the band….Umm, he’s the only lead singer they ever had. And as for them, unfortunately, even if every other living member voted him out, it would be a 1-1 tie, and something tells me he and Syl Sylvain get along pretty well. Whole album’s a winner, and Dano, take a curtain call man, it’s deserved!
