in your “about” section

Published November 7th, 2006 by Bobby Henderson

In your “About” section, it says “even by it’s opponents.”  I just
wanted to point out that “it’s” is a contraction for “it is,” and not
the possessive form of “it.”  You should say “even by its opponents.”

    While naturally I’m too lazy to read all of the above comments, I read the first several, and they were all wrong. The original message is correct.

    It’s = it is
    Its = it possesive

    Not that Pirates were ever any good at spelling.

    I am appalled! No, I don’t question your devotion to your noodle god or your laughter at the expense of the many other strange “religions” bumping to and fro in the dark, but your use of our native tongue… appalling! If you haven’t tried native tongue, you may find it more palatable than pizza, with or without an apostrophe. I assume that most of you are college students or even graduates (!) based on your poor spelling and worse grammar (and probably ignorance of geography as well). If you still don’t understand the importance of clearly communicating with correctness in the English language, you probably also don’t understand why I didn’t give you that job after reading your application.
