Please spare me. The US was founded on commerce. The first explorers/colonists in the US were financial ventures. Some came later for religious freedom (Freedom of their own religion, mind you. They had no problem repressing the religions of others.), however, most immigrants came to the US for economic reasons.
Take five minutes and learn some facts before you try and spread that shit here.

Actually, you have that backwards. Some of the original settlers like the Pilgrims were Protestant fundamentalists that would make most modern fundies cream their pants in envy.
