wide-cardorder1.jpg

Fedex delivered 9 boxes of FSM greeting/propaganda cards this morning and they look good. I have never seen so much propaganda in one place.

    @Me
We may think the Christian faith is incorrect, but our flimsy moral standards won’t let us turn down an opportunity to get some free swag.

You can think the Christian faith is incorrect all you want.

It doesn’t make you right :).

flimsy moral standards? Lets see here.

If I were to shoot your wife, would you have a problem with that?

  8. 8 Just Guess Nov 24th, 2006 at 4:04 pm

I said flimsy moral standards, not non-existant moral standards.

hey, at least we’re not the ones who murder and consider it to be divinely justified. more people have died throughout history due to religious faith than the atrocities of Hitler, Mao and Stalin combined.

  10. 10 skeptick Nov 24th, 2006 at 4:35 pm

    @ Homo narrans
and even Hitler was driven by his own twisted sense of religion in his atrocities.

Pirates love cats! At least, I’m a pirate and I like cats. I’d love to adopt you little plunderer of rodents.
On another note, if a prophet of the FSM told me to buy these cards, then the FSM must want me to also. Must resist urge to… blindly obey…

  17. 17 Neofelis Nov 24th, 2006 at 5:40 pm

The FSM told me that if i scent mark too much i’ll go blind, i blindly obeyed and i still have almost purrfect vision. And they say theres no proof!

Praise be to the Noodly One! This will greatly assist in the building of the pirate ship!

You can think your religion is correct all you want. That doesn’t make you right. ;)

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
