This guy has meatballs of truly holy proportions! Good job, that shipmate!

I applaud your spirit, preacher man, but please, can we improve the quality of the signs? I know I’m being too picky.

I think I was one of His Noodly Appendages touching that guy in the movie. They might be invisible, but…

  4. 4 Brother Boyardee Nov 20th, 2006 at 4:56 pm

He has truly been touched by His Noodly Greatness. Inspiring.

Wow F-ing wow! This guy rawks. But yea, definitely improve the sign.

And while I’m on, everyone should know about the pirate supply store….

    http://www.826valencia.org/store/

You can purchase many of your pirate needs there, including eye patches, lard, peg legs, and stripey socks. Excellent place for Xmas presents for all your pirate friends.

Regarding your letter to the Kansas school board, Kansas never passed any law requiring or even allowing the teaching of Intelligent Design in public school. The new outlined curriculum instead opened the door to follow the facts of the origin of life to wherever they may lead - which is just good science, isn’t it? The debate had nothing to do with intelligent design, creationism, or evolution, despite how the media reported it or whatever articles they read or whoever raised their voice on the issue. I read the curriculum and I attended the debates. However, the new school board is in, and they’re overturning the curriculum anyway. So there’s nothing to get in a tizzy about. There are other states with more public schools who have accepted ID or creationism into their curriculum than schools in Kansas. For example, despite the Dover decision in Pennsylvania, the state school board does accept challenges to evolution. The Dover decision was only for the Dover school district.

Yeah, the signs sucked… but my phamphlets were awesome.

I made the signs at the last minute, actually there were four signs, but they didn’t pick up too well on camera, they read “Believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster” “God is real….and made of Pasta” “Gravity is a lie, support intelligent falling” and “Fight Global warming….dress as a Pirate” Unfortunately they didn’t pick up too well on camera. Meh.

P.S. Thanks for the link. May his noodly apendage bless you and yours!

Your name suits you well, good sir. I salute you! You have done the Great Noodly One proud.

I would like to point out that I am sure he was over come with His noodly greatness…but he did make a single mistake. He claimed that the FSM was made out of pasta, when we all know that pasta was merely created in his image.

    I know I’m nitpicking here…

Hey guys, just like to let you all know, if you don’t already, J has got The Letter off.

Should be interesting to see the response we get.

Nice but don’t diss other religions people might get mad

    Nice costome though

  13. 13 BrianTheCanuck Nov 20th, 2006 at 8:16 pm

I’m with you spitfire… the point of this whole thing was never to slander anyone’s beliefs, and I’m sure we are all intelligent enough to take the high road.

  14. 14 gill Nov 20th, 2006 at 8:24 pm

Question: what was the random explosion in the background about?

  15. 15 Fr. Corpus Callosum Nov 20th, 2006 at 8:44 pm

@The Cut Lass: Thanks for the link to the pirate store! I’ll be plundering there as a religious pilgrimage this weekend! Then I’ll go and have a sacred spaghetti dinner! Aaarrrggg!

  16. 16 Fr. Corpus Callosum Nov 20th, 2006 at 8:49 pm

    This guy is awesome!

  17. 17 Mad John Kidd Nov 20th, 2006 at 9:16 pm

Spot on, gill, I was wondering about the building on fire in the backgorund myself.

  18. 18 Cap'n Awesome Nov 20th, 2006 at 10:00 pm

I’m intelligent enough to take the high road, I just choose not to. It’s a completely arrogant and asshole thing to say that those who don’t “Take the high road” and respect retarded and rediculous beliefs, that have been responsible for countless deaths through the ages, are not intelligent.

    Bite me.

    -Love Cap’n Awesome.

  19. 19 Cap'n Awesome Nov 20th, 2006 at 10:02 pm

The explosion was a sign that the FSM was angry at the many at that university who were believers in false gods, such as Jesus and Allah.

  20. 20 Mad John Kidd Nov 20th, 2006 at 10:06 pm

RAmen, Cap’n, your words of wisdom are greatly appreciated.

May we be forever touched by His noodly appendage!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
