science without religion is lame

“Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.” “I am convinced that He (God) does not play dice.” -Albert Einstein- Oh well. At least life is so good in this country we have the time to dedicate political discourse and web page design to the idea of whether or not people should be allowed to TALK about God.

    There I’m done. Oh I can’t help it. What the F*** is your problem? I’m sure its a great story but seriously, can’t we honour the FSM in a different way?

    @Pixel Pete:
    whoa, calm down there. what’s your problem? it’s just a story…a strangely surreal, extremely fucked-up story, but it’s Penne’s way of honouring FSM. what’s wrong with that?

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
