Warning Against Rejecting Wisdom
20 Wisdom calls aloud in the street,
she raises her voice in the public squares;
21 at the head of the noisy streets [c] she cries out,
in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:
22 “How long will you simple ones [d] love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
23 If you had responded to my rebuke,
I would have poured out my heart to you
and made my thoughts known to you.
24 But since you rejected me when I called
and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand,
25 since you ignored all my advice
and would not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh at your disaster;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you-
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
28 “Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me.
29 Since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the LORD,
30 since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
31 they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
Proverbs 9:7 “Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse.”
Will you insult me mocker?
Proverbs 9:8 “Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.”
Do you hate me or love me?
Proverbs 9:12 “If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.”
Do you want to suffer?
Proverbs 21:24 “The proud and arrogant man-”Mocker” is his name; he behaves with overweening pride.”
Isaiah 29:20 “The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down-”
“Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.”
“Now stop your mocking, or your chains will become heavier;”
“Whom are you mocking? At whom do you sneer and stick out your tongue? Are you not a brood of rebels, the offspring of liars?”
Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
Jesus was mocked. Do you not know this? Did your parents not teach you. I feel sorry for you and for all those you lead astray, for you taught them to be mockers as well. Do you have nothing better to do with your time, noone to serve, noone to help, nothing good that you can do?
Repent and turn from your ways, so God, the only God, the One True God, may see you repented, be Merciful to you and turn his wrath from you.

I came upon this website by doing a search on mockers and I have found many examples in this posting. I understand sad’s comments. Sad issued a warning. A warning is issued to people you care about. You don’t want them to get hurt. I see many people in the postings who are sour and sarcastic. This will only make you more sour and more sarcastic. God is alive. He is all around us. When you see the nature and it calms you. God is there. When you see the beauty around you. He is there. I am a Christian. I would be very sour and sarcastic if I wasn’t a Christian. I am not perfect but God has made life a lot more meaningful and has calmed my spirit. May you receive the same peace which is free to all.
That’s the FSM touching you with His Noodles. And I doubt X-insanity is a buffer against sourness and sarcasm. You may simply just not be a sour sarcastic person. No need to attribute your personality to a cosmic jewish zombie or a sky fairy.
I was going to write something very clever here, but then realised it was not worth the effort. So I’ll just say thanks for the warning sad and sadder still. I will not see you in paradise though, for there is no such place. Or if there by some completely cosmic coincidence is, probably none of us are going. Really old information is more likely to be false than new information on the same issue, you know. That puts the gospel of the FSM in a new light, doesn’t it.

Actually, when I look at nature, I’m not calmed. It actually makes me a bit hungry. Do you suppose your god wants me to eat him? Come to think of it, that sounds a bit like the FSM.

I get hungry when I look at nature too. My ex used to say I got to know about animals by eating them. Buffalo, venison, turtles, bunnies, alligator, ostriches, kangaroo (allegedly), ox, chamois (an alpine goat thing), octopus, shark, and mystery meat from a South Korean street vendor. I wanted to eat dog too, till I made a wrong turn down the side street of a street market. Live dogs, dead dogs, dogs in the process of being skinned, and dog meat on tables, with squares of skin/fur on it so buyers would know it was dog. I don’t think the FSM wanted me to eat dog.
