Hey Pirate…

The only Pirate you are is a BUTT PIRATE….butt plugging parrots too!

You and your group of sick, misguided, ugly, half-witted, inbred, drugged up, hippie friends really need a good ass beating. When my deployment of catching drug runners ends in South

America, and I return to San Diego, CA, why don’t we meet somewhere? You bring your freaks…um, I mean “friends”, and I’ll bring my friends. We’ll have a nice little discussion…….

However, before we meet I suggest you fill out a last will and testament……..

And you differ from Muslim extremists how? Threatening to kill anyone who doesn’t believe the same as you is a huge part of the worlds problems. Tollerance is a good thing, learn it.

  2. 2 Nick2 Aug 19th, 2006 at 4:41 am

And if I decide not to go? Dumbass.

  3. 3 Just Nick Aug 19th, 2006 at 7:22 am

Freeks are so much cooler than the normal people.

Gimme a freak any day of the week.

  4. 4 humanity Aug 19th, 2006 at 8:26 am

Ahhhh, that’s sweet. A good ol’ fashion beating - just what one needs after using free will, logic, and reason, to form a view of the world. I look forward to the ‘conversion’ offered by you. Will your organization have a name, or will you operate in secrecy, like a ‘terrorist’?

  5. 5 Bruno Earthling Aug 19th, 2006 at 4:40 pm

Hey, does it not read like this phrase:
“However, before we meet I suggest you fill out a last will and testament…”
    … constitutes a death treat??
Is that extreme or what? Not the phrase, but that kind of “little discussion… about one´s idea of a joke…
I would like that, to have “little discussions…” with all the people I don’t like…

Of course you won’t show up. What’s the matter, your little “spaghetti monster” won’t protect you? Of course not, for it does not exist. However, God is always on my side and protects me.

  7. 7 Wulf Aug 19th, 2006 at 10:32 pm

Homophobic bravado. How comforting to think that people like you are all that stands between us regular Americans and.. wait, who are the bad guys again? I though the bad guys were the ones that hated us for our freedom to think and believe in what we choose.

Perhaps you should move to a less progressive country, where your death threats and obsession with asses and beatings would be the norm.

“Of course you won’t show up. What’s the matter, your little “spaghetti monster” won’t protect you? Of course not, for it does not exist. However, God is always on my side and protects me.”

Because when a dude threatens to kill you on the internet, you HAVE to go meet them, to protect your honour on the field of battle.

And perhaps you should move to a NON-CHRISTIAN country such as Iran, because obviously you do not belong in a christian country such as America.

Nobody threatened to kill anyone on here. I think you have too many of those noodles stuck in between your ears, and up your ass.
You need to learn about freedom of speech. Or, does that only count when you fuckheads are talking about some childish spaghetti monster? Grow up, you little children.

  11. 11 Wulf Aug 20th, 2006 at 8:23 am

“And perhaps you should move to a NON-CHRISTIAN country such as Iran, because obviously you do not belong in a christian country such as America.”

You are aware, are you not, that the founding fathers left the old world, and formed the new to escape religious persecution. The freedom to believe in any religion one chooses, or none at all, is the reason America is.

Iran would be more suited to you, as a religious fundementalist with little or no tolerance for the beliefs (or lack thereof) of others.

    Irony is a bitch.

  12. 12 DTG Aug 20th, 2006 at 8:25 am

OK guy of many names but one ass beating, lets go over what you’re saying. (I’m lumping all the macho posts together even though it might be more than one person).

First there was the thing where a will was required for a meeting with you. But that is not a death threat? Really? Are you just generally conncerned about people who don’t prepare wills? Are you concerned that their loved ones won’t be cared for?

Then there’s the fact that you’ll beat some ass if people have a different opinion than you. But everyone else needs lessons in freedom of speech? Because obviously freedom of speech includes destroying those who disagree with you. That’s why the second amendment comes right after the first.

“Non-Christian country.” Wait. I thought that the US was technically a religionless country. No official religion and all that so that the people who came here can worship snakes in the name of Yahweh or whatever.

Haven’t you been able to tell by now that this is more a atheist parody of the idiocy of fundamentalist sects of Christianity forcing their way into our govenment and forcing our children to be a bit more stupid? That’s kinda why the people who founded this country were afraid to form a national religion. You know, like in Iran where children don’t learn what their Muslim government doesn’t want them to. (And we don’t want this crap taught inpublic schools, we don’t neccisarily care if it gets taught elsewhere, we aren’t banning books here.)

Yes his holy noodlyness is childish but it’s sometimse fun to believe in childish things when they have more adult meanings behind them.

  13. 13 Wulf Aug 20th, 2006 at 8:27 am

“Nobody threatened to kill anyone on here.”

“However, before we meet I suggest you fill out a last will and testament……”

If that is not a threat of bodily harm, what is it, friendly legal advice? Christian concern for the well being of family?

  14. 14 Sam Aug 20th, 2006 at 8:36 am

    Again this happens.

“..Or, does that only count when you fuckheads are talking about some childish spaghetti monster?”

So why is it childish when we belive in god, but when you do, it makes perfect sense?

The point of this is to point out that all religeons are flawed, and a flying spaghetti monster makes about the same level of sense as this thing called “God”

  15. 15 Pinchbeck Aug 20th, 2006 at 11:34 am

    Butt pirate?
Then you, Sir, are a TWAT. I demand satisfaction. No, wait, my Mother always told me it was unfair to pick on mouth-breathers.

  16. 16 Allen Aug 20th, 2006 at 7:12 pm

So your an unintelligent border patrol monkey? That explains a lot.

I have heard better threats on here, i.e. like “I am going to shove an oar up your ass” boy. Be a little more createive next time you try to insult us you unevolved Neanderthal.

  17. 17 OMG He's Jewish! Aug 20th, 2006 at 8:39 pm

But seriously, you have to go out and buy ‘Name Calling for Butt Pirates’. Your insults suck Butt Pirate! One thing you don’t get is that we treat Hate Mail like I treat nails. We eat it all up. You’re truly the Lord of Butt Plugging Pirate Parrots.

A life of misguided teachings, butt ramming, and brainwashings from your fellow buttpirates(your cohorts), dumb ass….

In your case, if you are what you suck, then you’re a COCK!

  19. 19 Garanook Aug 21st, 2006 at 3:58 am

Honestly, do people actually write this hate mail with the belief that it will be taken seriously?

  20. 20 LMNOP Aug 21st, 2006 at 4:46 am

So you’re saying that the teachings of FSM are misguided but your religion says it’s cool to wish rape and violence on anonymous people? Oh, and Go Homophobia!

  21. 21 LMNO Aug 21st, 2006 at 5:15 am

I get it now, you really like fantasising about hot men, preferably straight, fucking each other up the ass. You can’t have it in your real life so your fantasy world has to do. You especially like when these straight men in homoerotic situations are mad at you and in fear of a beating if they don’t fuck each other just right so after you get off your BDSM gay porn site, you head over to the FSM message boards to see if anybody bites on your fantasy.

Is that about right? You really should just come out of the closet and get it over with because this seems self-destructive.

  22. 22 klem Aug 21st, 2006 at 5:28 am

This is funny to see how people slash you because you had a funny idea of exposing a dangerous issue (ID)…..What shocks me is that these “love jesus” guys are really narrow minded…I mean, when you go down to it and view this on a mythological level, a guy claiming he’s the son of god and that his mother is virgin committing suicide to repent the humanity of its sins is as valid as a FSM creating the universe….As well as this wacko cult (don’t remember the name) that got all of its member kill themselv to reincarnated in another dimesion….It’s a matter of opinion….people claiming they have “The truth” are the most dangerous on earth….”The truth” usually being their own thy pathetically try to push on others….

  23. 23 Peter Aug 21st, 2006 at 6:04 am

Hahaha, yeah, ok YOU’RE chasing drug runners. A threat? Oh nos!! And what’s more, he’s posting under different names to make it look like he’s got a posse! Woe is me! Man, I would love to meet you, if only to vent my frustration that a website like this is even necessary (don’t get me wrong, the FSM is great, but the fact that there’s even a debate about whether to teach ID in schools… come on). Maybe I can beat some sense into you in the process.

  24. 24 Dino Aug 21st, 2006 at 10:02 am

The Glorious Flying Spaghetti Monster spoke with me last night and he assured me that we have no reason to fear the submitter of this particular piece of FSM hate mail. He then asked me to act as his prophet and spead the word to my fellow Pirates, in his name.

I believe that this seals the deal and that 2 acre lot wedged between the beer volcano and the stripper factory is finally mine! YES!

You know the great thing about belief amoung the low brow masses? (. . . I don’t want to stereotype, but picture a guy with a fondness for velvet Elvisi and Truck pulls. . . ) It’s the fact that anyone that doesn’t believe what they believe that person is automatically wrong, stupid, and should be forced to believe what they believe. I love how most religious debates typically end in a Christian spouting explitives.

I get you. You hate me because I’m Jewish; and thusly, assuming from the stereotype of ‘Jews and Pastafarians always make more money’, you are jealous of my chosen people powers. Moses pwns Jesus anyday.

I would like to respond to the original post: Not everyone who has deployed to South America in order to catch violent maritime drug traffickers wants to beat up freaks. Some of us just want to tickle their cuddly under-chins. (Tickle, tickle.) And some (well at least myself) of us have a FSM symbol on the back of our vehicles, where they thwart evil with every puff of exhaust.

  30. 30 Reed Braden Aug 22nd, 2006 at 2:23 pm

This reminds me of the kind of thing a homophobe would say after getting hit on on MySpace by a gay kid. (Not saying that’s ever happened…) :-P
However, you should go. He said bring your friends, so you should gather the million or so Pastafarians to a meeting place and meet this asshole and his three friends somewhere and lynch him.
I bet he has a pencildick.

  31. 31 Suul Matuul Aug 23rd, 2006 at 11:42 am

It truly shows the maturity levels of the users here that even a religious debate turns into an argument over who is gay and who has the bigger penis. I’m sure God and Spaghetti Monster are incredibly proud of you all…

Seriously some of you just crack me up… i cannot believe there are a bunch of idiots who took the FSM thing seriously instead of realising from the start that this is just a damn funny joke.. something designed and destined to be funny.. like say a YTMND.. this is just a parody people.. just sit back.. read and laugh… -_-

As for you religious fanatics who preach and force your beliefs to everyone you encounter… you should learn to grow up and respect other peoples thoughts and ideals… and Yes im a christian catholic… i believe in god… but im not obsessed by all the damn teachings in the bible.. some of em just dont sound right to me.. hell most of that shit are just stories intended on teaching life lessons.. Also.. i completely respect someone who doesnt believe in the same thing i do… one of my fav TV hosts.. John Stewart… is jewish.. and it doesnt affect me one bit… and i find buddhists to be very pleasent people! i dont care what people believe as long as they are good and kind natrued people… in my opinion.. the only requirment to go to heaven if there is one.. is to be a good person overall in life.. not perfect but good…

So yeah… dont bitch at this dude for having made up FSM.. he did it to make you laugh so enjoy the show… and religious fanatics.. stop imposing and start respecting…

Oh and note to all you haters… you have just been pwned by CANADA

and by the way… the fact that every single american admendment for every single damn state has been written with the christian gods name in it well…. i dont give 2 shits about it… im canadian and proud of it… i worship attacking beavers, God without imposing anyone to do so, the maple leaf and super fast internet that blows yours away in terms of speed and price… so religious brainwashing using fucking US admendments wont affect me…

And exactly how long ago were those constitutions written? I thought that we were supposed to be advancing into a bright new age of tolerance. Yes, worship your God, but dont assume that you are better than everyone else because of it. Didnt your God tell you to be humble?

And to every evolutionist/FSMist who presumes himself or herself better than others because of his or her belief, doesnt that make you the things you hate?

For the retards that want to say that, “Oh, it happened in the past, who cares what a bunch of founding fathers said”. Well, have you ever heard of “forgetting the past, and repeating it?” A country that turns its back on God will fail. Look at our country now how it is decaying from the inside out. Taking prayer out of school, banning the 10 commandments, etc. Teaching condom use instead of abstinance. We sure could learn a lot from our history. WAKE UP AMERICA! Get back to our roots!!! Again, look at history. And look at our constitution where there was no referrence to Buddah, and there certainly was no signatures with the name Muhammad. Freedom of religion in America is forms of Christianity (catholic, protestant, etc.) Wake up to the facts!!!

    Ty is right… again:
Where did you get the idea “that Canadian idiot” was on your side? He’s trying to encourge us all to be tolerant…
you are not being tolerant, you are being bigoted.
You are being exactly the kind of American that the rest of the world is starting to hate. You are severely letting your nation down.
Stop and think a little broader, just for a second… please.

    Listen Toots,
I didn’t say anything about the Canadian dude being on “my side”. However, he WAS RIGHT when he said the FSM is fake. And you know what else? I could really give 2 shits about what other countries think of the USA. Why? Because they are JEALOUS. That’s the bottom line. I have been to 26 different countries and all of the people their bow to me when they found out I was an American. They would do anything to get to the USA. So, until you leave your trailer park and go out and see “the rest of the world”, shut your mouth, and keep watching and being brainwashed by CNN and Air America. Keep thinking that “the rest of the world hates us”. Here’s a clue, THEY DON’T. They wish they could BE LIKE US, but they can’t. You have no idea. Why don’t you go and join these so called “countries that hate us so much” and live there? You’d be back in the USA faster then a Democrat loses an election. (Yes, that fast)

  50. 50 marieanne Aug 25th, 2006 at 2:19 am

    hahahaha!
    I already live in europe!
We don’t live in trailer parks in europe… we build proper houses.
We don’t watch CNN either, or take American Airlines… we have our own airlines and news networks (inadquate or ill informed as they may be)
We also have inadequate governments and realise it.
I have met plenty of wonderful and gracious americans and i enjoy visiting your country too.
You really are either on here posing as an arrogant, insecure fundamentalist, in which case, it’s funny and convincing - well done - or you have a worrying view of the world…

either way, thanks for making me laugh! You’re hilarious!

    Love from “toots” x

    Ty is…

I’m not sure a single person here is seriously suggesting that FSM be real. I’m also not sure that everyone here denies the existance of your God. FSM is just a parody of one aspect of the idiotic, power-hungry, “the bible is the only truth and if DVDs aren’t in the bible, they don’t exist” portion of Christitanity. Which from your stance on the decaying America, you seem stupid enough to believe in. Good job.

I personally think America is “decaying” because an idiotically fundamentalist Christian administration is picking fights and eliminating parts of the constitution in order to stir up fear and gain power. In the name of God. I’m sure there’s something about that in history also.

It would be kinda awesome if like Shiva, Apollo and Odin all came by to sign the constitution of the US. ‘Cause, you know, that’s appearently what Jesus did so other Gods needed to get in on the game.

    Ty is right…again,

Your post scares me. Is it me, or have the crusades in the holy land just moved to this site? You know, it’s people like you that I hate, and whoever runs that “Fundies say the darndest things” site: please put his post on it.

  53. 53 Peter Aug 25th, 2006 at 7:38 am

“Ty”, you’re a dumbass. Our “roots”, as you say, are the antithesis to what you preach. Benjamin Franklin was a Deist, Thomas Jefferson refused to believe in the divinity of Jesus, the Trinity, or miracles, and as for George Washingon…

“Washington was an early supporter of religious pluralism. In 1775, he ordered that his troops not burn the pope in effigy on Guy Fawkes Night. When hiring workmen for Mount Vernon, he wrote to his agent that he cared not if the workers were Mohammedans, Jews, Christians of any sect, or Atheists, as long as they were good workers. As president in 1790, he published a letter written to Jewish leaders in which he envisioned a country “which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance . . . May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while every one shall sit under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.”"

  54. 54 Not Ty Aug 25th, 2006 at 7:40 am

    Ty -

    Educate yourself.

The social problems with the U.S. are largely due to bad parenting and not the absence of religion in government. This bad parenting can be a result of over ambitious adults that care more about their SUVs, big houses and fancy vacations or because a widowed mom has to work 2 jobs to make ends meet.

Let me say that again; It’s parenting that makes a difference not our teachers, not our politicians, not our government.

You can be a good (insert your preferred religion) and a good parent just as you can be a good (insert your religion) and a terrible parent. Feel free to play around with all the permutations.

What it comes down to is that if your child is not concerned or afraid of disappointing their parent(s), then no amount of religion in government will help.

  55. 55 Peter Aug 25th, 2006 at 7:53 am

Also, John Adams was a Unitarian.
Honestly, the more I find myself researching this, the more disappointed I am in the current state of tolerance, education, and open-mindedness in this country.

    “Not Ty”, excellent point.

  56. 56 Peter Aug 25th, 2006 at 7:58 am

    John Adams, on religious canon:
“All these opinions they were enabled to spread and rivet among the people by reducing their minds to a state of sordid ignorance and staring timidity, and by infusing into them a religious horror of letters and knowledge. Thus was human nature chained fast for ages in a cruel, shameful, and deplorable servitude to him, and his subordinate tyrants, who, it was foretold, would exalt himself above all that was called God, and that was worshipped. [A Dissertation on the Canon and Feudal Law, 1765]”

Aight, I’m going to stop now, just thought that was an interesting quote. Seems applicable.

  57. 57 Suul Matuul Aug 25th, 2006 at 9:05 am

Ty… you said that we were in danger of repeating ourselves because of forgetting history. You are right. However, you are the one that seems to be forgetting so much. You claim that other’s belief has no right in your country. I’m sorry, but doesnt that ring any historical bells? The next step in this path is to say that those people are sub-human. And from there on it gradually gets worse, eventually leading to genocide of those people.

And please read my previous post, I’ll get the point across as easily as I can.

YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN OTHERS! THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO!

Perhaps you should start bowing down to your God a little bit more. It might teach you some humility.

Peter… you rule.. you took youre time to do profound reaserch before making any claims and you showed refferences to your claims.. and you made good points!! people should be more tolerant

and ty… Canada owns your ass.. we might not have a better military… but we dont all live in trailor parks or cottages in the woods either lol… and by the way the internet connection i have is probably better then yours on speed AND price… we arent low tech

  59. 59 Mark Aug 25th, 2006 at 1:26 pm

    Um, no, Ty, still wrong.

The 1st Amendment means that the US Government is OFFICIALLY a secular organization. “Freedom of religion” means ANY religion, or no religion at all.

And if that ever changed, I’d have to go find somewhere else to live. (Canada, maybe, if it weren’t so bloody cold…)

  60. 60 Ty ain't right... Aug 25th, 2006 at 1:51 pm

    Ty is right,

What you don’t know is that the FSM used His Noodly Appendages to put a secret message in the first 8 preambles listed above.

Alabama 1901, Preamble. We *The* people o*F* the State of A*L*abama, invoking the favor and guidance of Almight*Y* God, do orda*IN* and establish the followin*G* Constitution.
Alaska 1956, Preamble. We, the people of Ala*S*ka, grateful to God and to those who founded our nation and *P*ioneered this gre*A*t land.
Arizona 1911, Preamble. We, the people of the State of Arizona, *G*rateful to Amighty God for our liberties, do ordain this Constitution…
Arkansas 1874, Preamble . We, the people of the State of Arkansas, grateful to Almig*H*ty God for the privil*E*ge of choosing our own form of governmen*T*…
California 1879, Preamble . We, *T*he People of the State of Cal*I*fornia, grateful to Al*M*ighty G*O*d for our freedom.
Colorado 1876, Preamble. We, the people of Colorado, with profou*N*d reverence for the *S*upreme Ruler of Universe.
Connecticut 1818, Preamble. *T*h*E* People of Connecticut, acknowledging with g*R*atitude the good P*R*ovidence of God in permitting them to enjoy.
Delaware 1897, Preamble. Thro*U*gh Divine Goodness a*L*l men have, by natur*E*, the right*S* of worshipping and serving their Creator according to the dictates of their consciences.

    “THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER RULES”

By the way, I’ll grant 1000 points to anyone who finds any other secret messages embedded either the Constitution or the Bible.

And yes, I’ve got way too much time on my hands…

  61. 61 Allen Aug 25th, 2006 at 4:34 pm

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…”

All of our founding fathers were deists or athiests. Deists being a logical group that believes in one god, but this god doesnt concern himself with the daily lives of humans, nor does he have a sacred text.

Any law passed that violates the first amendment will be taken down eventually, because the people now I believe are getting a bit more convinced that the Christians are taking America over, and we are going to start waking up.

    “E Pluribus Unum”
    “Out of many, one”

    Not “in god we trust”

If you can pass a law saying a state is a christian state, then maybe you can ban any other religion there, and after that you can ban any religion not christian around the country, and maybe after that you can enforce the christian religion on everyone, if you can do one you can do the other.

    Evolution is logical

    Creationism isnt

    America’s “roots” included slavery.

Just a little awakening for those who believe that we have a utopian past.

  64. 64 What happened to Ty? Aug 26th, 2006 at 6:03 am

    Allen -

Execellent point. Then just play that out for a couple of hundred years. This utopian Christian state will break up into “sects” because Baptists are “more equal” than Catholics.

Any large organization will tend to subdivide its self into smaller groups. Those smaller groups will then get into power struggles for control of the organization.

    AND Secret -

Don’t forget the Exodus, Chapter 21 - the “Biblical Policies and Procedures Manual Regarding Slavery.”

Posted by: What happened to Ty? | August 26, 2006 at 06:03 AM

As with anything I look at the both sides of this issue, slavery is evil yes, it was good business then though. I do not advocate the slavery of any person that would take away their freedoms.

However you must look at the big picture, back then having a slave was essential to having a good business and provide enough, cotton, food, etc. to the economy. And may I remind you that the slaves many wealthy people had then were treated better than they were treated in the 19th century.

Adam’s said something to the effect of…
“Any man who loves his wealth more than his liberty is not worthy of this freedom, he should be sent back from whence he came, bend down and lick the hand that feeds you.”

No time has ever been a utopia. Many when considering the Bill of rights and the Declaration of Independence, questioned the articles because of the wealthy men who had slaves. Many of the men in Congress then hated slavery.

And may I remind you also that many slaves then were recruited into the war because they wanted the war to happen, not because they were drafted, mind you some were ordered to come with their masters, but the majority of them wanted freedom, irony, tragic that it did not happen, but irony none the less.

  67. 67 MDOG Aug 27th, 2006 at 3:31 am

hey, remember when this carpenter named jeff, jess, jesus that’s it, created the universe, only to not mention it when he was preaching PEACE AND TOLLERENCE all over the middle east. That’s probably a bit harsh, i can accept any ones beleifs (as misguided and ignorant as they are) for what they are worth.

Quick physics question for those who crave the intelligunt desine, when an apple falls at 9.81ms-2 does that happen because of the earths gravitational attraction or that god wasn’t around to catch it?

  68. 68 swaiNorsa Aug 27th, 2006 at 10:40 pm

“And look at our constitution where there was no referrence to Buddah, and there certainly was no signatures with the name Muhammad. Freedom of religion in America is forms of Christianity (catholic, protestant, etc.) Wake up to the facts!!!”

Aha! Your poor, misguided soul. Let me enlighten you and Sause the road to the Spaghetti Gates where strippers dance eternally and beer flows like the Nile.

You see, because of the fact that you were rejecting His Saucyness he decided to insert his noodley appendage into your frontal lobe, a common tactic used by The Noodley Pirate to disorient any given target. This direct contact with the noodley appendage caused you to create a logical fallacy in your post, while you might have made a valid point before you hit “Post”, or at least thought you did, you have been “noodley appendaged”.

What you are doing is denying the antecedent, as well as arguing from ignorance. I know, I know, you must be slapping your forehead saying ” HOW COULD I?” but I shall forge on in the name of His Noodleyness.

You see, you are saying that freedom of religion is restricted to only Christianity! Right? Some conclusion there! But for the purposes of logic education we shall ignore the fact that the claim is obviously “wack”. You state that this must be true because Buddha or Muhammad aren’t mentioned. Uh oh, logical fallacy! You see, you are saying:

The Constitution does not mention Buddha.
There were no signatures of “Muhammad” on the Constituion.
Therefore, freedom of religion is constricted to only sects of Christianity!

See what is wrong there? Additionally, as for the argument from ignorance bit, you failed to mention His Saucyness, the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Although, it is his fault for noodle appendaging your somewhat feeble mind. May His Grace bless you!

    Ramen.

The unworthy will drool and shoot one another.

  70. 70 Suul Matuul Aug 28th, 2006 at 9:06 am

Wow, he even puts down the name of Budhism. Now this is probably one of the best religions, because it teaches not only love and tolerance, but:

    1. It does not at any point condone murder, unlike biblical based religions, who always seem to find some passage that allows them to do what they know is morally wrong.

    2. It is pretty much one of the few, if not the only, religion that actually teaches acceptance of other religions.

Now, if only this was taught more widely amongst the other worldwide religions, we’d all get along just fine…

    Or would we?

The fact is that these people are just using religion as an excuse to hate, and they would just find a different excuse to hate if you took religion away from them. People in general arent very nice.

  71. 71 Steve Aug 28th, 2006 at 10:23 am

  74. 74 Allen Aug 29th, 2006 at 3:50 pm

    Me?

If so, let me clarify. I am not a racist, in fact I think that it is possibly the cruelest part of American history, and I am not Christian, I despise the bible as I despise anything that is cruel.

I was looking at both sides on the slavery issue, and over all I would choose freedom for any man/woman when it came to something like this. Slavery wasnt right in the least bit, but to them it was good business. That is all that I was saying.

I truly love the hate mail on this site. Is it homophobic? Check. Is it violent? Check. Is it riddled with spelling and grammar errors? Check. It must be Christian hate mail!

    A couple of thoughts.

First of all, I can’t stand the people who think they speak for everyone when they say the FSM is make-believe and we don’t believe in him. Maybe YOU don’t, buddy-boy, but some of us do. Arrgh!

Second: Allen, I respect that you’re trying to be historically conscious, but I have to say that you are tragically ignorant of U.S. slavery. I’m guessing here, but it sounds like you never had anything more in-depth than high-school education on the subject. High schools generally don’t go into the incredibly high incidences of rape, murder, and brutality inherent in U.S. slavery. Futhermore, USAians knew as early as the late 1700’s that slavery was actually _bad_ for business - intelligent people recognized that slaves don’t do good work because they aren’t very motivated. Funny how that works. So, seriously, as long as you keep saying what you’re saying, you’re going to get labeled as a “racist” - simply because you’re so willfully ignorant about a subject that is so personal to so many people. I suggest you pick up some good reading material before pretending to be an expert next time. Cheers!

    Ty,

You are correct in your assessment that Muhammad and Buddha aren’t mentioned in the US Constitution nor in any state constitution. However, you are remiss to observe that Jesus’ name also fails to appear in any of those documents. Therefore, the God or Creator references could just as easily be read to refer to FSM or any other deity.

The OP has never seen combat in any way, drug runners or no. It was a very pathetic attempt to sound tough. It is worth noting that the vast majority of South American drug interdiction is run from Florida, while very little (aka none) is run from San Diego. Anyone with a map would probably know this.

Is it just me that finds it tempting to start a drug running trade now based on this shining example of what our opponents would be.

“You are aware, are you not, that the founding fathers left the old world, and formed the new to escape religious persecution. The freedom to believe in any religion one chooses, or none at all, is the reason America is.”

If you’re referring to the fuckin homo puritaints, they didn’t leave to escape persecution, they left to show the church of england there way was better way, and to learn by example. They also didn’t want anyone to have a different religion besides theirs, but i dont care what the hell you believe in, just get the facts right

  91. 91 Cara Sep 7th, 2006 at 6:01 pm

    1. NO the Puritans did leave england to escape religous persucution.
    2. As someone has said before me george washington wrote in a letter that he did not care wether his soldiers/workers were muslim, jewish or any other religion so at least one of our founding fathers must not have cared wether his workers were a different religion he just wanted good workers.
3.HAHA you just got your ASS whooped by a 12 year old.

Hey asswipe, I’m in San Diego all the time. Am I supposed to be scared? I’m not.
First, I’m sure that you don’t have any friends. Second, if you do; they are all to busy playing with themselves. Run along to the circle jerk jr. !

  93. 93 retardedandproud Sep 11th, 2006 at 6:19 pm

Ok guys lets get one thing straight. Saying words like “asswipe” and “twat” on the internet do not make you COOL. In fact you just sound immature.

  94. 94 TrueBeliever Sep 12th, 2006 at 12:13 pm

Will you be bringing the seized drugs from South America to the meeting?

  95. 95 puffaliaz Sep 12th, 2006 at 5:53 pm

lets hope not. they could’ve been poisoned before the meeting… if enough brainpower is applicable…

When I saw the list of Preambles, I was grateful that my state had a decent one. After all, it is the “Live Free or Die” state. I am grateful that I can go to sleep at night knowing that my children will not be subjected to the travesty of Creationism or ID being taught in a science class. I don’t care if the theories of Creationism or ID are taught in other contexts, as long as they are presented as theories and not fact. Of course, they should prominently feature Pastafarianism among the theories.

Ooh! Oooh! Can our ‘discussion’ include me beating your inbread, sick, misguided, ugly, half-witted, drugged-up, redneck ass from here to Nantuckett with my broadsword? Cause that’d sure be fun.

  100. 100 Conor Sep 28th, 2006 at 7:19 pm

Yarr why don’t i give ‘yer no good redneck ass a good ol pirate beating, and then you can walk the plank into davey jones locker.

Wow, I’m really happy for this guy: he finally learned how to read and write! Yaaayy!!! Maybe we can throw a party and he can invite his fellow second-graders…

  102. 102 Dustyn Kovacs Nov 5th, 2006 at 12:35 am

I love how we Pirates think on a much more tolerant and intelligent level than these extremists. They try so hard to say we’re going to burn in hell, or we’re a pox on this planet, yet they only prove that they’re severly under-educated and hopeless. May the FSM have mercy on them.

“However, before we meet I suggest you fill out a last will and testament……..”

In a very interesting book I read years ago there was… “You shall not murder” Too bad that those who intend to defend it are ready to break this simple rule…

“sick, misguided, ugly, half-witted, inbred, drugged up, hippie friends”
How long do you think it took this poster to think up all those adjectives and then put them in a sentence? One….two….generations?
    No evidence of evolution there!

  105. 105 Jon E Dec 7th, 2006 at 5:21 am

Why the obsession with our backsides? What does this say about them?

Do these people really think that they are scarier than us? How many people with science degrees are there on this site? Rather a lot I would think. I bet most of us could come up with some pretty nasty stuff. Some of us also have a pretty good idea of tactics. Sun Tzu’s The Arts Of War should be read by pretty much anyone with a brain, must read it again soon. I’ve met plenty of people who are only dangerous in a group with their little friends behind them, this guy obviously falls into that group.
