Bobby: Have you forgotten your roots? Was the time in Sunday School a total waste? You were not raised to perpetuate the nonsense of your middle of the night spoof to make a point. Have you forgotten that you are an Eagle Scout, and there are certain moral responsibilities you should be upholding. The words you spoke when you received that great honor did not include blasphemy and irresponsible garbage.
You are offending the members of your extended family who truly do believe in God as the master of our universe. You are profiting from a foolish notion at the expense of fools, and even if this is all a joke gone completely outrageous, you will meet your true maker one day. I do believe God has a wonderful sense of humor, I just hope He can overlook the words of a foolish child as just that, foolish.
I’m not a zealot, just a friend who wonders where all this will end. Put your obvious intelligence to work for a cure, or a solution. Remember, you quit your job in Las Vegas because it was asking you to do something you knew was wrong, YEA Bobby, for that you can be commended. When those who will always love you just shake their heads and wonder, maybe you should do the same. And I say this with love and respect for the person you are.

An important difference between phlogiston and evolution is that the theory of phlogiston was falsified by experimental evidence. Evolution has not been falsified despite more than 147 years of scientific inquiry.

Coleoptera your are right evolution has not been fasified. Robert Boyle did argue against it. Although his points were good, I could have shot down a couple of them. I cannot prove false Evolution, but I will call it into question on many fronts. I have argued the Scopes Monkey trial from both sides. Dr. W.R. Thompson in the introduction to centenary edition of Darwin’s “Origin of Species” said that evolution had become a indefensible dogma. I wish I had more time but I must eat as my lunch time is almost over, then back to the oars. just remember that until phlogiston was overwhelming shown false, it was considered hard fact.

The theory of phlogiston was hotly (pardon the pun) debated and considered controversial until the equipment required to prove it false became available. Nothing in science is considered hard fact. That is why everything is a theory. Science proceeds by falsification, nothing can be proved. Not even that the sun will rise tomorrow morning, that is just a theory.
