I find it amusing that no one has posted a comment to the effect of “Of course it’s not necessary to ridicule religion. Most religions contain enough self-contradictions and obvious bald-face lies that you can just quote scripture and find all the ridicule you need.

Expecting to get into heaven on Jesus’ coat-tails is wrong. Expecting to have your debt of sins paid for by someone you don’t even know, just because you’re a poor little mortal with no chance in life, that is wrong. Your morals are defunct, your life a waste.
You try to tell us that the “REAL” god is the one which we cannot perceive or understand. You tell us that we are cut in two, our consciousness(read: soul) and our bodies are pitted against each other, our mind(read: soul) belonging to the supernatural, our bodies the evil chest which has locked our mind away.
Your father, ancient Adam, who ate from the tree of knowledge and was subsequently doomed by his own creator, was no man until he took a bite. Before, he was a blind unthinking thing, with no worries, no work, no thought. Your god wanted to keep his creations stupid, and so he kept them from the one thing that separates humans from all of the other animals. Knowledge. And when this subhuman made the decision to better itself, he became human.
Your religion is a religion of evil and death. You would prefer to rot in your church than to grow in your school, you prefer death over life, as only death will set you free to roam your only true destination, heaven. And what is heaven but a place to sit down and mull around and praise god for eternity, like a slave without a mind. Your god is an evil god, a dictator, bent on keeping his minions ignorant, and worse, apathetic about their own ignorance, or rather, gleeful in it. He wants to see you suffer, just to see how far he can push you. He has no problem with destroying you and the rest of the world, to make a point. He has had to start over again, which never would have happened if he had done it right the first time.
Your god is as impotent as he is evil, and a greater evil has never existed. Except for maybe the communists.

You fool, you god damned fool. We’ve never said anything about heaven being all fun and games. We’ve never said that, why would you say that we said that, it isn’t fair to us, it just isn’t fair!
Why can’t you just look at our religion and accept it?!? It’s for the greater good, it brings us happiness and peace, and everyone is equally loved by god, no matter how good or bad they are. And god only helps those who need it, that’s why he saved Noah and his family, and why he hasn’t done anything for you.
Why would you say these horrible things about god when he loves you and wants you to love him back. He doesn’t want you to go to hell, but he doesn’t have a choice.

You know, I was merely amused with the FSM concept at first. Yet, using the logic presented by fundamentalist nuts, I can clearly see the divinity of the FSM based solely upon their idiotic rantings.

That’s not true, it is entirely necessary to mock other religions, races, sexualities, lifestyles, and genders because it is your first amendment right to do so. You can say and publish anything you want.
