You are the biggest hypocrite

You are the biggest hypocrite I have ever been exposed to; throughout your page you repeatedly assert that evolution is the only “scientific” explanation of the origin of species, yet right on your front page you say that such absurd theories as the “Flying Spaghetti Monster” should also be incorporated into public high school science curriculum. So let me explain this to you nice and slow; the Bible is the answer, it is what is to be differed to at all times; the Bible is 100% true- it says so in the Bible. Now, as far as science goes, who the hell do you think your are to call Intelligent Design “illegitimate science,” technically, evolution is the only scientific theory yes; and technically, midgets are people… So we aren’t to concerned with technicalities are we? Plus, part of education is being exposed to every side of the story, because if we cannot give six billion accounts of each event, then not everyone is being fairly represented and we are reduced to defining science as some kind of “standard” outside of human gut-instinct. And besides, as an acquaintance once said (really) “what good has evolution done the world anyway?”

So there we have it, as I noticed some of you other readers correctly pointed out, if you question things your are a tool of Satan. You don’t need to question, God does all the thinking for us; he actually has a degree in Philosophy. Abortion is wrong, it says so in the bible, I dare you to go look it up- you probably won’t find it, but that’s just because your gay, which is also wrong- it says so in the Bible. Now some of us will be wondering the justification for that moral assertion, but remember the Bible is flawless- it says so in the Bible.

Back to evolution- all of the evidence that exists for it is actually false and placed there by Satan, and so that evidence really isn’t inconsistent with the Bible at all, and that makes it void. But the evidence that is the Bible, and its infinite circle of self-validation is completely inconsistent with evolution. I mean come on, if God didn’t really make Adam and Eve, why would He lie to us? And so since ID has more valid evidence than evolution supporting it, it wins and you lose.

As a Christian, I follow Jesus for his teachings of love and tolerance; it is people like you who make me sick, I hope you die in a lake of fire and get your eyes pecked out by crows, so that you may go to hell and exist for eternity in a lake of fire getting your eyes pecked out by crows.

With love,

Charlie

As much as it pains me to say it, especially looking at these Christians, no one deserves to be told what to think.
    .
If they are, then we would be as bad as those Christians that we mock.
    .
They are entitled to think whatever the hell they want, just like we are entitled to think whatever the hell WE want about their religion.
    .
Of course, if they try and convert me, thats when I get the water cannon out and go missionary hunting…

RAmen, Jingles. If they want to believe that they were created by god and that Darwin was the son of the devil, super for them. They’ll come off as looking a tad, shall we say…..idiotic, but hey, no skin off my nose. Unless they bother me about it. Then…yah. Water cannon time.

Wow. Some people really need to learn what’s sarcasm and what’s not. Some people really need to stop basing their lives entirely on a 2000+ year-old collection of books some bored guys wrote.

“the Bible is 100% true- it says so in the Bible.” This comment is 100% true-it says so in the comment. In addition to that, the Bible is not at all true. Anybody feel a bit of a conundrum coming on?

“we aren’t to concerned with technicalities are we?” I actually am too concerned with technicalities.

“reduced to defining science as some kind of “standard” outside of human gut-instinct.” Hmm… that kind of seems like the point to me. My gut instinct sure didn’t tell me a bunch of aluminum would be able to fly; does that mean it is unscientific to ride on a jet?

To answer your friend’s question, Evolution (or rather our understanding of it) has allowed us to improve our knowledge of the world, allowed us to understand how bacteria become resistant tow antibiotics and is helping with attempts at the development of artificial intelligence. Look it up on the web.

“if you question things your are a tool of Satan.” Didn’t jesus question the social structure around him? I honestly didn’t know jesus was a tool of Satan.

“You don’t need to question, God does all the thinking for us; he actually has a degree in Philosophy” Wow, our education system is really going downhill, first we start teaching ID and now we are giving away degrees to figments of peoples imaginations. I’m actually kind of jealous, I have to work pretty hard for my degree, yet this pup didn’t even have to exist! I tell ya, some illusions have it all.

Why did abortion and sexual orientation come up. On another note, I don’t think they knew about abortion when the bible was written, well fabricated.

You can’t say something is valid because you say it is valid and still be considered up to snuff mentally. I suggest a thorough examination by at least three physiologists, and maybe a hobo, just for good measure.

“I follow Jesus for his teachings of love and tolerance; it is people like you who make me sick,” Does something seem wrong here to anybody else?

Hey person (?) who keeps insulting us, I don’t think it’s still a lake if it is made out of fire.

P.S. I do love this kid’s conspiracy theories.

I only read the first few comments here but what proof do you have that God isn’t real?
I am personally a devoted christian.
I love God and Jesus and trust them both.
And seriously, christianity pretty much only teaches people to be accepting and tolerant. It teaches love and morals.
    What’s wrong with that?
Nothing is wrong with teaching people to act kindly towards eachother.
In the end, whether God is real or not, at least we will have treated eachother with respect and dignity.
It’s better to be believing and to love than to have no beliefs and live in a world of anarchy.

Flying Spaghetti Monster is a load of rubbish.

Mwahahahahahahahaha, under wich rock have you been the past years?
IF it does ONLY teach that then I’d say most people are pretty poor students who definitly fail their exams. “it teaches love and morals” Uhm like? You’ll love that person with a different believe than you? Uh, no.
Morals?? From the BIBLE? Pulease, please read it properly first and then come back and join us.

    @ …
“In the end, whether God is real or not, at least we will have treated eachother with respect and dignity.”
That’s actually not to bad, but it’s pretty obvious that you did not get those loving morals from at least half of the “100% true” bible.
The old testament sure as hell doesn’t teach respect, or love. If anyone feels like posting a long comment on what i’m talking about, feel free, i don’t have the time.

    RAmen to you to

  16. 96 Commodore Angryy Sep 1st, 2007 at 10:52 pm

Unfortuantely for all fundies, i am a humanist. I believe that when people have good morals, it’s because of themselves, or the way they were brought up. i’ve not recently been to church, if indeed ever, but i am quite sure that very few of the ‘morals’ they teach you, are straight from the good book. it’s people’s interpretations that let them think that, but good people are a result of … being good people. Have you ever noticed those christian fanatics, who quote bible verses whilst going on killing sprees, they are the ones who gain their mmorality DIRECT from the bible.

    @ RDPW
You could visit me too you know. or am i just not that important?

    Anyway, back to Charlie
    “infinite circle of self-validation”
just imagine, if the one statement in the bible that was a lie is that ‘the bibe is true’, that would mean the rest of the bible can also be a lie, but no, it validates its own validation repeatedly. but guess what, i can self validate too. it goes like this … “Charlie is a tosspot, and i said it, and i am always right”. Now my word is as good as the bible’s if not better, because what i said was accurate.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
