I do believe you are

I do believe you are a fucking retard and I hope you burn in hell. Fuck you and the flying spaghetti monster. Postmodernism is a self defeating concept. Read Josh McDowell’s book for a good overview of what life is truly about you dumbass humanist. You obviously think life is just a big damn joke. Its all for humor and entertainment. I look forward to the day it fucks you right in the ass. Oh the age of the earth doesn’t fucking matter! Technology, hell we’d be better of without it anyways. God is not a flying spaghetti monster because only a human could think up such a dumbass retarded idea like that. Intelligent Design is observable. It does not require faith, it requires the ability to understand what irreducible complexity is along with several other phenomena that has been discovered in Science. Evolution is a conjecture. Of course, an idiot of your brain size would probably believe we came from monkeys…and quite frankly, you are probably the best evidence that Evolutionists have that human beings came from a monkey. I’m still having problems teaching my dog 2+2=4. I hope to someday prove Darwinian philosophy and be able to have my dog recite Shakespeare to me. Then I will believe Evolution is true. Until then….its all a big damn joke. Charles Darwin went insane when he was 28 anyways (didn’t know that did you?) Let me put it this way to you concerning your bologna flying spaghetti monster. If we are created in the image of what you believe God to be, we would look like spaghetti. Common sense is a valuable asset. Lets try this…I’m going to go very sloooooowly for you Bobby. Retarded people…like Bobby Henderson….will burn in hell unless you give your life to Jesus Christ. Life is not hard. Neither is it a joke. But I believe that anybody with a brain the size of a peanut should be exposed for the fraud that the person is. Quite frankly, I do not know why I’m wasting my time…because you are probably too stupid to read this e-mail anyways. At any rate, I have better things to do than point out your circular reasoning within your arguments. You are a disgrace to anything that humanity or your stupid existentialistic philosophy represents.

Just take the whole message off of the board!  I gave you no permission to post that.  I want it off, or I will contact my lawyer.  And that is not a joke.

*update 3*

Actually no. I am not a piece of spaghetti! Neither are you. Therefore, God
created us in the image of himself. When looking at the spaghetti monster, I
then look back at God. When basing a comparison on "COMMON SENSE" the FSM
makes absolutely NO SENSE! "Why then are the mountain tops not made of
spaghetti noodalege. Is not the water on the earth a steaming pot of
spaghetti sauce?" Dude thats what your crap sounds like. So in essence, from
having read your website, I can conclude that it is irrational to believe in
the FSM and that the Bible is much more explanatory than the FSM Gospel. For
this reason, basing the evidence on a fair and objective criteria that a)
which explains the most accurate concepts of the human existence in today’s
reality (Ockham’s Razor) and b) was the FSM given any significant value
beyond the scope of today’s audience. When doing a fair and observant
observation of the material, then I can say no. As far as whether or not the
Bible misses a few thousand years, go to a site and find Genesis…..usually
the origins are given a ??? All we know is the beginning. "In the beginning,
God." Thus it goes back to the beginning, whenever that is. If by chance it
was written a few thousands years later, then we can also notate that the
Jews were VERY good at keeping accurate oral compilations and records, but
of course your 10 year old knowledge of how the Bible was compiled would
discredit your credulity on the issue. The reason Evolution makes no sense
is for several reasons. One - we have no evidence of eyewitnesses that saw a
guy with bad mental health on the island of Galapogos, besides his "claim"
which I definitely do not trust. No. two - we have lacking evidence of how
water came about based on the evidence of Evolutionary Scientists. With this
in mind, I can accurately claim that if it happened the way Evolutionists
claim, then we have an issue, because the sun’s energy would cause
everything in the world to burn up and die! The Genesis recollection is more
accurate based on this criteria. The necessary components for the necessity
of life on earth proves the Creationist model to be true and accurate. The
answer to your question about dinosaurs is that the Bible actually makes
numerous accounts of dinosaurs existing with man, though you seem to be
quite ignorant of that as well. So the fact that you have conjured up an
imaginary FSM is not too impressive…and neither is your support of
Evolution. And as far as when "Jesus was watching" lets see. What does Jesus
say, "Before there was Abraham, I am." Meaning, I was real from the very
beginning of time. I am displays a claim to deity here. "I am who I am"
from Exodus. I have plenty of evidence to back this up, but most of these
items are beyond the scope of what I can fit in this e-mail. I would
recommend for further consultation to refer to Glenn Miller at

www.christian-thinktank.com. Thats the most unbiased site I have ever found
(secular and nonsecular). The man asks for no money, will not accept
donations, and does not try to sell a book or anything whatsoever on it. It
is not a site of propaganda at all. It is a site for skeptics (like
yourself) to ask very tough questions and for him to give you a direct and
honest answer to your skepticism. I actually challenge you to challenge him
  with your questions.

God bless,

Casey Powell   C. Powell

expect to hear from my lawyer

You are committing a tort.  This is a form of defamation of character known
as libel.  I can sue you for creating a publication of something I gave you
no permission to actually post on your website (and actually explicitly told
you not to post on your site).  Keep it up there and I’m pretty sure I can
get a few million dollars from you there Mr. Henderson.

Casey Powell

*update 5*

also keep in mind

If you want people to take you seriously, you might want to consider taking
my name off of it (and especially putting my e-mail up there?  Come on,
thats a load right there).  You are going to earn a horrible reputation that
  way. Keep it up.

*update 6*

Are you trying to convert or deconvert?

*update 7*

What I can definitely say is that I gave you no permission for posting that
message.  As a matter of fact, I told you explicitly NOT to post that
message. I have the e-mail to confirm it (from my other account).  I also
have your contact information down as well.  And I’m scheduled to meet with
my lawyer tomorrow concerning the matter at hand.  Apparently, he thinks I
have a case (for libel that is).  So I’d recommend unsoliciting that
statement unless legal action should be taken against you regarding the
  matter.

Until then,

(I have been requested (per lawyer) not to provide my name)

See…the problem is this…I did not make that quote

Godfrey v. Cornell University/ Dolenga

In this case, Godfrey alleged that several defamatory messages about him
were posted on on the soc.culture.canada newsgroup by a Cornell University
graduate student and Canadian citizen (Michael Dolenga) using Cornell as an
ISP. Soon after Dolenga’s original post, Godfrey requested that Cornell
University block Dolenga from posting any additional such messages. Cornell
denied this request Several years after the postings had been made, Godfrey
sued both Dolenga (who had since graduated) and Cornell University in
England for defamation. Godfrey won a default judgement against Dolenga, who
did not offer a defense. … [edited for brevity, it goes on for pages]…

*update 10* - Aug 1st, 2006

Bobby,
You have 2 options.  One you take my name off of your site, you take the messages off of your site that were posted by you and you take my e-mail off of your site.  In the event that you don’t, I sue you for $400,000 for libel and invasion of privacy (and I’m not kidding about that either).  You have 24 hours to decide which alternative you would rather go through.

*update 11* - August 1st, 2006

I am personally done talking to a bunch of 8 year olds who have no clue
or purpose for life period. I could argue with an 8 year old all day
long and get nowhere, so I’m over this retarded childish behavior. The
grace I am willing to give these people is the relinquishment from this
website (thats right, I’m trying to get this shut down for good). Bobby
Henderson, I’ll see you in court. The subpoena is coming your way.

Casey Powell

*update 12* - some older unpublished emails I received from Casey. (the bold was added for emphasis)

*received july 30*

and in exchange for taking my quote off - I feel one good turn deserves another.  I was getting ready to start
a webpage to smeer your site.  In return for taking the quote off, I
will not use (and I mean this, NEVER use) the flying spaghetti monster
eating horse to start a campaign to smeer your site.  I will also send
you the picture if you wish too, as you requested.  I feel that a fair
exchange.  In fact, shoot, I might even buy your book just to read it
and see your point of view on this thing. Thanks man,

Casey Powell

*received july 30* (bold added for emphasis)

By the way, I shall submit an apology for that e-mail.  I have no right to tell you you will burn in hell.  I was simply infuriated by the comments on your page.  God bless you Bobby, in all seriousness, I hope you find Jesus Christ for who he truly is.  Not just a joke made up by mankind, but a loving Savior who would do anything for you.  The only true God who truly created the world as the finely tuned universe that it is.  Bobby, God bless you and in a way, I’m glad you have this site.  It shows that in some way you are searching for something.  I’m going to be honest with you.  My position is this.  When I was searching for whatever it was it was…(whoever it may be, whatever it may be), I kept an open mind.  I looked at both sides honestly and came to a conclusion based on that.  I support ID and Creationism because from my review of both sides, Evolutionists just can’t answer the questions I have, whereas ID sites have no problem.  Evolutionistic sites (pandasthumb.org, talkorigin.net, glennmorton@entouch.net) simply just don’t add up.  I’m kind of a new Christian in a sense, so I’m used to using language like that, though I’m attempting to try to get better with that.  Please accept my apology, as what I stated was truly wrong.  Furthermore, please take it off your site, as I don’t want to disgrace Christ with those words of hate.  May the hate be replaced with love Bobby.

Casey Powell

Here’s another message from Casey, also received July 30th *

This is defamation of character for two reasons.  One, I did not post the claim.  Someone has recently gotten a hold of my Yahoo account, which I am now cancelling as a result.  No. 2, I believe I have told you numerous times to take that off of my account.  When I initially found out it had been posted under my e-mail address accounts, I immediately believe I had contacted you to take it off of the page.  That is a libel claim for those two reasons.  It is a defamation of character issue, so I would recommend that you take it off of your site.

Casey Powell

*And another email from Casey:

I’m trying to tell you that I, Casey Powell, did not write the message. Somehow, it was posted by someone who broke into my yahoo account which is the reason I am not using the yahoo account to contact you now.  I can’t even get into the other yahoo account Bobby.  I am terminating the account due to privacy issues.  So while it was from my yahoo account, I personally did not write it, which is why I’m trying to ask you to remove my name from it.  I would personally like for you to take the whole message off, because I believe it is quite an offensive comment to your publication of material on your website.  But at the least, I don’t believe in submitting comments like that to people’s websites and did not submit that to yours.  I have been trying to explain that I did not make the post.  This is a personal matter that I am trying to get cleared up by deleting the yahoo account that this comment was posted from.  I apologize for this disturbance to your site.  Please be assured that I would not submit anything like this to anybody’s site Mr. Henderson.

    @beastly rich
    .
alright, since i lacked the power of god (hahahahaha), i always thought he was a girl because of the way he bitched about bobby (notice how i said bitched). also, casey is a girls name (unless nobody already knew that). he looks like a total loser anyway. his myspace account proves it. i wonder if wacks off to jesus. hahahaha

  2. 282 jesus christ Nov 25th, 2006 at 4:04 pm

i mean i wonder if he wacks off to jesus. probably not, because homosexuality is condemned in his messed up world.

  3. 283 Comatose Dec 5th, 2006 at 2:14 pm

I find it sad that C. Powell had to lie about not making the first comment posted, especially when that’s a no-no in his religion (all insults and jokes being withheld unfortunately). So many people don’t get the point to FSMism, obviously they were one of them, and why do followers of Jesus always have to say “God Bless” To everyone? That is entirely peeving to me.

  4. 284 Cat Dec 5th, 2006 at 2:39 pm

There should be a thread for lonely Christian fascists who need to meet someone, get laid, calm down, get some therapy “mummy never hugged me, sob” and shut the fuck up being such hypocrites and all round BAD people.

  5. 285 Cat Dec 5th, 2006 at 2:47 pm

    Also
Don’t bless me, don’t forgive me and don’t even think about praying for me you patronising self-righteous self-centred arrogant wanker. If you do then my god will intervene and your penis will fall off, and then what will you think with?

    @Cat
    RAmen to that.
but what if they are female?
on second thought, no need to answer that.

  7. 287 Tohri Dec 5th, 2006 at 4:17 pm

What this looks like to me is someone with too much time to waste.

First of all, people who can’t back their theories with research should think twice about saying anything at all, or, maybe find something to give them evidence to support their argument. The “Philosophical” arguments presented earlier are technically invalid from what I’ve learned in my philosophy class (yes, all of them, structurally) so you should probably rework them.

Second, making remarks like, “I even spoke to Jews” in any context is fairly inappropriate. It’s sort of like saying you’re better than the Jewish people.

Third, this flares my temper a bit: “before I start selling them for higher prices than you minimum wage mongers can afford.” Is there anything wrong with working for minimum wage? Did you have any idea when you said this that the minimum wage in America (if you are from America) has been flat lined while prices of gas and groceries have steadily increased over the years? Some of us have no other choice but to work for minimum wage while we get our college degrees or pay for a home. There aren’t too many other options out there.

My point overall is this; there are too many people out there (Christians are picked on the most for this simply because they are the ones who openly do it) who decide that what they believe in is the only ‘right’ way to think. These people flame forums, make conversation increasingly difficult, and even result to violence. I’m not limiting this type of person to Christianity mind you, every organized religion has them and you’ll be hard pressed not to find them wherever you go.
All I ask is this: Won’t you please consider becoming a little more open minded? Not everyone is going to hell because they don’t believe as you do.

    Cheers.

ok Casey P. or C. Powell if god is perfect and doesnt make mistakes how do you explain yourself

  9. 289 YoMomma Dec 22nd, 2006 at 6:09 pm

Do you beleive that it’s okay to take slaves from neighboring states, seeing as how the bible says that it is? According to your “The bible says it, it must be true” argument, you obviously do.

I like my God with a hairy chest and some armaments.

It’s vitally important that I have a diety that is doing new and exciting things

Jesus is your number 1 myspace friend???
why the hell would jesus have a myspace?
what the fuck is wrong with you?

  16. 296 Cod man Jan 9th, 2007 at 11:53 am

    @ Casey Powell

If we use REASON, as you suggested, God created man in his image. Therefore he cannot be a flying spaghetti monster. REASON tells me he must be the most common human there is: Chinese. God is a chinaman. Proof right there. BTW did you know spaghetti was invented in China? Coincicence? I think NOT!

In other news, I DID teach my dog 2+2=4, but now he spends all his time in dog church, telling me that god is really DOG misspelled. Thats DOGma for you.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did.
