Bobby, although I don’t agree

Bobby, although I don’t agree with your “beliefs” I will accept it. You may think that you have all the answers when you know in fact, yo u are missing out on the real truth. God is calling you to be a witness to the faith, not the one which you have chosen, but another. The faith of Christ Jesus, the one and only God. You have an obvious gift of reaching people, but not with something that will help them. Just indeed, something that will upset, and discourage them. I ask, that you ponder on what I have written and pray about it. Maybe try praying to Jesus, he WILL indeed show you to true happiness. I ask, out of courtesy, since I have looked at your website, that you take the time to look at mine. There you will find my testimony, of how Jesus has influenced my life. Maybe, you might get something out of it, maybe not. I also ask, if you are interested took post a comment of what you have gotten out of my website to let my other viewers see. I will be praying for you continuously, not that you convert, but that you find true happiness in Christ Jesus the eternal God of God’s. God Bless, In Christ alone… Stephen

Stephen, I want to thank you for having one of the only compassionate posts here. You aren’t flying into a rage, you aren’t forcing your religion onto others, you are simply leaving the door open for others to follow. I applaud you for caring about others.

Stephen (and all others) this site is not serious, it is satire. Im sure u read all the zealot assholes who’ve posted on this site. This site is specificly for them, because they are narrow minded and shallow, unable to see the meaning past the message.

but i do thank you for maintaining your composure

You seem like a reasonable man, try expanding your mind, take an hour out every night. Start with Dawkins books, if you are paticularly keen minded try Sartre’s books, understand the firstly that God is not needed and secondly what you lose in God will be more than filled with truth and freedom.

There is more beauty and wonder in the world for an atheist than there ever can be for a theist. You truely are loosing out, I can’t even find the words to explain how amazing knowing and believing in evolution.
    .
The only way I can even begin to explain is, when I first heard of how a bat navagates in the dark through sound and how amazing this was compare this to how I felt when I learned humans had developed sonor. The wonder of evolution is far greater than thinking it was all done by an intelligent being. And knowing evolution is true and had no help or guiding hand from anything resembling intelligence just makes it more amazing.

“Christ Jesus the eternal God of God’s.”
There it is again! Jesus is god???? Was he promoted? Is god dead? So hard to get decent accounts from the netherworld.

    Nikkiee…
That was fantastic…. I have been trying to figure out for years why Jesus is suddenly worshipped when in the Ten Commandments God says to Moses, I am the Lord, thy god, thou shalt have no other gods before me….. Jesus got promoted explains it all….
And can someone please explain to me why some many people on this sight are trying to convert people to following Jesus? I haven’t read yet of someone trying to convert people to Islam or Buddisum or Paganism. One would think that if someone was taking a satirical view of the Christain Church, then that someone is proberbly (ok, I can’t spell) not all that interested in following that faith…. and as many of those exercising those views seem to have some understanding of that faith, it fits that they have most likely been there, done that and decided that it wasn’t for them.
When will people learn that preaching on someone else’s faiths’ website is not really going to work and only get you a whole heap of hate mail and jeering?

*You have an obvious gift of reaching people, but not with something that will help them. Just indeed, something that will upset, and discourage them.*

Well, I don’t see a lot of us pastafarians as being upset and discouraged - on the contrary - we have a beer volcano and stripper factory to look forward to, and we all seem to be having a pretty good time being pirates abd preaching teh gospel of the FSM, as well.

That said, I appreciate the fact that yours is one of the few posts that actually follows the rules of spelling, grammar and civility, thus placing it in the *concerned criticism* category rather than the *hate mail* category. Here’s hoping you take NTWHM’s advice and start reading something other than the bible. Start questioning your *faith* and who knows what you might discover…
May you be touched by His Noodly Appendage.

I will give a million dollars (US) to anyone who can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Jesus is not the son of the FSM. I believe Bobby actually made that claim. Try that one, fundies.

I’m with Gabe on this one. Too bad the christians got to Stephen before we did, I’d love to have him onboard (once he was thinking straight, that is).

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
