Dear Mr. Henderson, I must say, after looking at your website, I was slightly offended. I, for one, am a support of ID, and believe me, it does not involve some mockery of God as a Italian noodle. Frankly, your webpage is flys in the face of entire idea of a real church, and missleads some poor fool into thinking your dribble about a ‘flying spaghetti monster’ is true. I hope you see the error of your ways and get rid of this compleltly unhomrourous version of ID. May He have mercy on you for creating this offensive website. Sincerely, Matt

Purchase the Gospel
An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American

“It’s like arguing that the sun rises in the west.”
The sun doesn’t rise anywhere, the Earth rotates, causing the illusion of a rising sun. See how myth/disinformation is incorporated into popular consciousness? Next time you see the sun “rise,” remember that the sun is relatively motionless, and it’s the planet you’re on that’s moving. Gives the experience a whole different feel.
I’m not suggesting that anyone doesn’t know this. It would be good to have another term for this occurrence, something more accurate, like “sunshow.” Never mind, back to the IDiots.
“What a beautiful ‘my part of the earth turning to face the sun’ morning.

“missleads some poor fool into thinking your dribble about a ‘flying spaghetti monster’ is true.”
.
Could be much worse. No doubt a fool like that, would swallow the imaginary god of xtianity, lock, stock and barrel.
No doubt xtianity doesn’t want any competition to its enlisting the belief of easily led fools.
“unhomrourous”
I beg to differ, the main attraction of the FSM theory is the homrour involved!
Dictionary.com says:
No results found for unhomrourous.
Did you mean unhumorous (in dictionary) or Ian Humphreys (in encyclopedia)?
A search of Ian Humphreys yields:
Ian Humphreys (born 24 April, 1982 in Ireland) is an Irish rugby union footballer, occupying the fly-half position (usually called “out half” in Ireland He is the younger brother of Ulster fly-half David Humphreys. He plays for Leicester in the Heineken Cup. He joined Leicester in 2006 from Belfast Harlequins. He has also played for Ulster at under 21 level where he captained them during the 2002/03 season. He has also represented Ireland at U19 and U21 level, and captained the Irish side at the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament in Hong Kong in March 2005. He had previously been named player of the tournament for the European Sevens qualifier in Poland, whilst his first outing in Tigers stripes was at the Middlesex Sevens Tournament at Twickenham in August.
So… If Matt thinks this site is an Ian Humphreys version of Intelligent Design… I guess that’s kind of a compliment. Pastafarianism as the badass rugby player of the ID community… I can dig it.
And notice - Mr. Humphreys occupies the FLY-half position. If that’s not an FSM reference, I just don’t know what is.
Icky. Apologies for the spacing in that last post.
Actually, Pastafarianism is more like UD.
What does “unhomrourous” mean?
By the way, I find your lack of grammatical prowess to be quite humorous.
this is all a myth!!!
Ho hum. Mockery of God, erroneous ways and all that.
P.S. “Your webpage is flys in the face”! That’s so awesomely accidental.
