Back in May in the closing days of school, the Astronomy teacher at our school, aka Johnson, had his final for his class be to paint a ceiling tile of different galaxies, constellations, or anything Astronomical. Myself, who already took the class but had Johnson for 3 other hours, decided to paint one also. But i wouldnt be painting any stars, oh no… I found it necessary to paint the Almighty FSM.
After starting my project, my friend Slabcock said he would help also. I diligently worked on my portrait while the other students in the school were taking their writing finals.
With blood, sweat, and tears, it finally came around. It was directly put on display. Everyone was in awe of His Noodleiness. Johnson loved it also, and I put it smack dab in the middle of the room. On it had one simple message…
So for the years to come, He will be overlooking all and will be there for any inspiration.

Very nice, Matt, you do excellent work. Some of you will remember Matt and Slabcock from their earlier work.
Please keep sending me your photos, I’ll post them here.

My Halloween costume this year was a roaring success! Walking from unenlightened home to home, I did my pastafarian duty by spreading the word of the Flying Spaghetti Monster to those with closed ears. “Blessed art thou, touched by His Noodly Appendage!” (Articulated noodles were a real boon.) I realize that preachers must wear full pirate regalia, but I hope an exception can be made when instead one appears in all the splendor of His Noodliness. Or perhaps it is sacrilegious and I should walk the plank!

Last June I attended my daughter’s college graduation ceremony and I was touched to see that the great FSM was also present. He was hidden within an abstract poster hanging above and behind the stage where the graduates were receiving their diplomas.
Notice his noodly appendages reaching down to touch the graduates as they pass. I have no doubt that his intervention at that moment helped my daughter find and obtain the excellent position that she how has.
I don’t think that many people in the audience noticed his presence, but then, many don’t yet have the Faith.

Pastafarian Kim’s Pirate-Fish pumpkin. I like it.

Our Deity has chosen to appear on my key ring!
You can imagine I feel really Touched.

As an artist and a Pastafarian, I deemed it necessary to heed the calling of his noodliness and commence work to bring His glory to the two dimensional surface.
And I have used the principles of composition, of values, of line, and chromas, and I have painted pixels in his image. Blessed be the FSM for giving us the rules of composition!
And I arranged the masses of light and dark, and behold, they pleased His noodly Eye. Blessed be the FSM for creating contrasts in value!
And I cooked spaghetti for visual reference, and rendered His holy form, guided by His Noodly Appendage. And I have consumed the spaghetti, and rejuvenated by this holy communion, I placed the highlights upon his noodles. Blessed be the FSM for creating light and shadow, so that we could see our pasta!
And I placed colours and pirate regalia upon the army of His deciples, and behold, I spent many a day putting details in their midst. Praised be the FSM for showing us the way, for to err is human, but to Arr is Pirate.
R’amen brothers and sisters, may the image of His Noodliness please thy eye.

What do you guys think of something like this for the FSM voyaging church? I will tell you a few reasons it appeals to me.
It’s something we can build together.
We can start right away. We have enough money to get started and we can buy more materials as we raise more during the build process.
It’s more realistic and practical. I like 200′ Galleons as much as anyone, but I don’t see a lot of them sailing around. Pirate boats are extremely expensive to buy and maintain, and require a large trained crew to sail. If we get one, it’s going to spend much of its life being rented out to pay for itself.
Something like this is relatively cheap (hundreds of thousands vs millions), simple to sail, lots of room.
The one in the picture is ~65′, I’m not sure the upper limit on sailing catamarans.
What do you guys think? Build or buy?

Probably my favorite FSM pumpkin
Halloween is coming up in a few short weeks. Please send me photos of your FSM pumpkins, FSM costumes and any sightings of Pastafarian Missionaries or Saucy Wenches you come across.
The photo above and photos below are some highlights from past years.

A few links from previous years:

This figure in Japan is called “フラスパ(fura-supa)”.
Dogū (土偶, “clay idol/figurine”) are small humanoid and animal figurines made during the late Jōmon period (14,000 BC to 400 BC) of prehistoric Japan. This one clearly resembles the FSM.

We’re working hard at spreading the message of the Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster throughout Mexico and Latin America. You might know that the Virgin of Guadalupe is the holiest figure of the Mexican catholic religion – but things have changed. Now we know that the FSM is also present in one more of the many far away lands. Attached is an image of our findings. We hope you enjoy it!
Bendito sea el Monstruo de Spaghetti Volador! (blessed be the FSM).

Pastafarian Marissa spotted these Pirate Fish (almost) ice trays available from DealExtreme (link). Price: $3.89, free shipping.

I have attached two pictures from our 2nd wedding anniversary this evening. My parents had a candle custom made for our anniversary. Also, their best friend, who has taken up Pastafarism, made the laser cut FSM symbol. To top it off, my wife made a spaghetti dinner for tonight. YES, our wedding night *is* a holy night :)

Wow, that is beautiful. I love the candle and the centerpiece. Happy anniversary.
Team FSM on Kiva now has 959 members and has raised over $115k. Well done, everybody!

One day i was taking a nice, long, hot bath. I laid down to rinse out my hair and happened to stare up at the ceiling and there He was!
I’m thinking of cleaning Him off with a papertowel then selling it on ebay.
